played by jen c:
"So babe, lets get comfortable. You got a nickname I can call you by?"
Nicknames? I have 'princesse' which basically means, 'princess.' Théo calls me that all the time, even though I am his older sister. By 4 minutes to be exact! Some of you Americans call me 'Juju' which I realised only a week ago has no specific meaning to it. I was quite embarrassed.
"Well, can't say it doesn't fit you. From the looks of you, I could think of just a few better. I'm just gonna call you babe for this interview. You mind? Great. Has anyone ever told you you look like.."
Eva Green? Oui, des millions de fois.
".. Yeah, actually. You must get that a lot. You're kind of hot, I gotta say. But for the ears out there listening, you wanna explain what's cooking?"
*laughs* Merci. What's cooking? I am cooking nothing at the moment. Can you not see? *thinks* Oh! What's cooking! I get it now! Well, I have messy - no, wait, sometimes tamed - chocolate coloured hair. My eyes are pale blue and as Théo once said, "very scary." Skinny? Would you say? You! Look at me! Am I skinny to you? Yes, I think maybe I am skinny... Tiny bit skinnier than average. I am 5"8ft - an average height in Paris.
"You are too cute. You wear this kind of stuff often, or is this just for me?"
I wear it all the time. The old-fashioned Parisian style... The floral dresses, the blouse tucked into the beige skirt, the classic beret, the trench coat, the velvet dress. Very French.
"Ohh. Are you hitting on me? Haha. No, seriously, what are you? Gay or straight? You look kinda like a swinger, if you don't mind me saying..."
Swinger? I do not know what that is - I must ask one of my friends. However, gay and straight I do know! I am "straight." Well, I think I am. You never know until you have tried.
"Damn. GET SOME! Hah. You wanna smoke? Drink? I got some drugs in the back if you want. -winks-"
*laughs* Oh, you are too charming. Can you not see the cigarette in my hand, amoureux? The drinking I will do tonight at a bar with Théo. Would you care to join us? The drugs? No. My little brother says it drains the beauty out of a person's face.
"... Oh, so you must be a virgin, huh?"
Virgin? *laughs* Oh, please.
"Knew it. So, you got any secrets? Come on, you can tell me. Promise this interview won't leak anywhere."
Oh, well I have one... I am not sure if I want to tell you... Okay I will. But you have earned my trust, and if you throw it away, expect trouble. I have had sex with my Théo! Outrageous, yes? *laughs at interviewer's expression* Curiosity? I think so. We have always been labelled as "those crazy twins." Guess we are. We've never really paid attention to real life. We are the dreamers. [[ LOL. you're probs wondering, "WTF DUDE?" my character is based on this www.imdb.com/video/screenplay/vi2465267993/]]
"..Ouch. Okay, don't be so cold kid. There's always a way out of shit like that. Got any ambitions, babe?"
Ambitions? Something to do with French cinema. I am not so sure.
"Okay, okay. Don't get too excited. Half of those weren't even real questions.. Okay let's see. Oh, here's a good one. Describe yourself in five or more words. Easy, right? You could go more into detail if you want, I don't mind one bit."
If you think about it, that is a very frustrating question. *winks* Humorous, friendly, strange, coquettish, curious. That really does sum me up.
"Couldn't agree more babe. Alright. Um.. Oh, here's another. Five likes and dislikes?
Hm... I like my brother, cinema, berets, France, and balconies. I don't like huge spaces (unless that place is excellent for running around in), summer, rejection, real life, and my parents.
".. Kinky! So last question. Gimme the details, how'd you get to where you are today?"
My father was a complete idiot. He met my mother at a club when he was 23 and he made her two children. She abandoned us - me and Théo - and we had to survive on our own. We grew up in an orphanage in Versailles, and even at that time everyone thought we were crazy. Always secluded in our own world and curious about the simplest of things. We attended school, got kicked out, went back in again, got kicked out. Me and my brother turned to cinema for education. And we fell in love with it. At the age of seventeen, we both left the orphanage and started to work places. We would hardly sleep - working at day and running around doing stupid things at night. We had sex one night. It was very strange and awkward at first. But we did it a few times afterwards and it became okay. We started to enjoy it. Through that, we bonded even more and soon, it was like we were inseperable. At nineteen, we were living in a cramped apartment and having the time of our lives for some strange reason. Then a month ago, Théo discovered something. He saw a boat at the docks offering free passage to America. It said it would be leaving in a hour and a half. He ran home, and told me this would be a new life, a new country, more things to explore. So we packed our bags and went. And here I am. Right now, living in another cramped apartment with my dear brother.
"Awe, well. Least you're still alive. Got yourself, right? That's the spirit. We'll look at your interview and give you the results, so sit tight for a few minutes, okay? And don't you dare think about leaving. I'll find you and interview you again. Don't get pissy with me, I'm just the goddamn interviewer."
