gretchen marie daniels played by Margot
basics Name - Gretchen Marie Daniels Nickname - Gretchen is about it. Face Claim - Freja Beha Erichsen Gender - Female Age - 18 Race - white Rank - drop out job - lady of the night >_>
appearance Hair - deep brown Eyes - brown Build - too skinny, and not attractively so Voice - very timid, very quiet, just sort of scared, but when she does talk she's to the point and doesn't mess around. It's part of her personality. She doesn't cope well with words. Movement/feel - She's very lank, sort of puppet-like. She's used to sort of being moved around, placed here, told what to do and willingly does it. She goes with the flow even when she's scared. She believes it's easier that way. She has a very morbid feel about her, sort of monotonously weird. Style - She's not exactly loaded. She likes to wear sort of flowy stuff. Lots of dresses, lots of scarfs and shrugs and so on. She layers a lot simply because it's easier that way. tattoos or piercings? any scars? - lots of scars. A bad one on her left thigh, and inner right thigh, a big one on her back and a very subtle one, about two inches down her chest
mental Smoke? - yes Drink? - sometimes, scarcely Virgin? - no Drugs? - depends Sexuality - straight Likes - matte lipstick, clothes that aren't tight, having ounces of hope here and there, silence Dislikes - being manhandled, having no one to take care of her Secrets - she had to drop out of school for more reasons than her grades Ambitions - get away from her life here after she gets enough money, just getting out
history history - Gretchen was born here. She has never been anywhere else but here. It's all she does, all she knows and all she's ever been. She grew up in a very broken down world that was more or less just depressing. It wasn't like she was trying to be all dramatic. She wasn't trying to get attention. She just had a pretty weird, crappy, unfortunate child hood and somehow it was just the normal for her. Her mother was very sick, mentally, physically the works, and her father was just fine. But they had had a divorce. Who hadn't these days? And mother had custody. Big surprise. Gretchen was just sort of there. She ate, she slept, she went to school. Therefore she was technically being taken care of. Yet her mental state had never been that grand. She was very lonely and not at all a bright child. She was afraid of her mother keeling over any second. And that she did. Gretchen moved in with father. He was new and different and busy... time ticked on. Life had to keep going. And she wasn't a fan of the situation. Then she became one of those runaways. She became a stereotype.
At fifteen she was one of those kids. Those that were never taken seriously. But if no one was going to take care of her, she had to take care of herself right? And then she fell further where the world was knocking her down into. She put herself into someone else's hands. She fell in love, or lust, but fully love in her mind set, with a man named Rich. An enticing name isn't it? Another movie type thing that no one treats with respect. That things like this happen. That Gretchen could ever possibly leave home for a reason, that she could find someone and trust them. It was her fault wasn't it? That she had to have that stereotypical pimp to make her feel at home. But she had to take care of herself. And now she had money. She was important. They needed her. They loved her. And that's where she grew up. It wasn't exciting. It wasn't dramatic. It was life. It was her norm. And it still is, but she wants it to take her places. Something like this that gives her money and a life will one day get her somewhere else, and make her important to everyone. It has to. Doesn't it?
Rich treated her quite horribly at first. He found her, and took her away from the street and kept her holed up in the apartment for a while, sort of breaking her from life, trying to get her to stop being so scared. He filled her with drugs and alcohol and other horrible things and introduced her to a new world of money. She was quite young and out of it due to the the aforementioned conditions. She didn't like it at first, and tried to run away a lot. She didn't trust him. She never trusted anyone, even then. But he made her want to be there. He made her see that this was the place for her. It became her home. Money was everything and she had to do anything to get it. He made her feel as if this was her last resort. He was rescuing her. And when she didn't agree or didn't behave he would just fill her with the alcohol, fill her with the drugs, so she wouldn't fully realize what he was doing to her. Putting it in her drink, putting it in her food or waiting till she was asleep. But as she got older he would hit her, and become very volatile. More and more she felt like a slave to him. But then it hits her that there's no where else. And here we are. She's never gone back home and doesn't plan on it.
