history

history - Colton was born and raised in the Canadian providence of Quebec. There the official language was French, causing Colton to grow up speaking mostly French and learning English as a secondary language. He grew up comfortably, wealthy, sort of regal. His life was quite ordinary until he reached secondary school. At the age of 13 Colton began to find himself as most kids do at that age. All his life he was told that he was to go into politics just as his father did and his father's father. But of course Cole fell in love with the arts. He spent hours in the local gallery, days in his room perfecting a sculpture. He was obsessed. And though he tried to keep it secret from his strict father, he couldn't lie about the reason why his grades were falling apart. Colton stopped caring about school. And this, his father did not take well. It tore them apart, they barely spoke to each other and whenever possible, avoiding each other. This of course broke his mother's heart, so she often flew to Paris to work, avoiding the conflict that seemingly never ended.

Because of this, Cole's sister basically was head of house. and at 21, she was not the best influence. Of course she took care of her little brother but partying at university was always a little more important. She would come home so drunk sometimes that Cole had to drag her half naked self to bed from the front door. They were close though. For the next three years Claire cared for Cole. Their close bond was seen by some as incestuous and at times it went that far but Claire only ever thought of her brother as someone that depended on her. However to the dismay of their father, cole was still not caring about his schoolwork and art was still his priority.

Eventually he manage to scrap by with his below average grades and went on to graduate from high school. Barely. After this he moved away from his harsh father and the sister he loved so to go to his mother who ran away from the conflict. So he stayed in Paris for a couple years. Getting in with all the respected artists and all their drug problems. This of course broke his mother even more to see her son wasted so she what she thought was best. Which was kick him out. So here we are. Present time. sent to some city to survive on his own. And not destroy his life.
