• for every member, you must have one main account as well as your character accounts. one character per account - character accounts must be linked to main accounts in one way or another.
• no plagiarizing/stealing/impersonating of anyone else's work.
• though freedom of speech is allowed, please respect those around you by refraining to use any offensive material out of character. it will be removed immediately.
• pictures may not exceed 450x550 in size - and do not stretch our forum. if you do, we will remove the image/code that is creating the problem.
• no spamming/double posting, however you may bump a thread in out of character boards!
• write legibly. meaning, u may nt rite lyk tis. being a PG-13 site, everyone on this site should know how to write! don't be lazy.
• while in character cussing is allowed, please be respectful of those around you. you may cuss, yes, but if it's every other word, we're going to ask you to censor it.

• this site is for intermediate to advanced roleplayers only. meaning, you are already familiar with proboards, and have been roleplaying for awhile now. if you're a beginner, then we're sorry, but you need to find a different site.
• keep your posts looking nice, please! we know everyone has their own style so we won't regulate any specific coding, but please try and make the posts look nice. if you have coding questions, then feel free to ask the staff - but remember we are an intermediate site, you should know some coding already.
• posts must have correct grammar and punctuation! though it is of course fine to slip up once or twice in a post, but if every sentence is a spelling error then that is a problem. spell check is real, you know!
• please be realistic with roleplaying. yes, we know, your character is a bad ass. but if a 400 pound guy is swinging a punch at you and you're only a 100 pound shrimp, you're not going to be magically swing a bigger punch back. again: realistic! no powerplaying, godmoding, all that jazz.
• once more with being realistic, if your character has a mental disorder (they're a schizo) or has some sort of disease/alcohol or drug addiction PLEASE look up the information and KNOW what you are doing. in basic, just be prepared! know your stuff. we will definitely test you on this when we look over your application. this also goes for pregnancy.
• if your character is going to have a baby, you have to have our permission first. we'll probably say yes, don't worry. we just don't want some overflood of babies.
• again, creativity. the generic party girl is cool, but not after a million times. be original, make someone different! think of weaknesses, strengths, all that. don't make someone right on the spot just to use a certain playby. alright?
• speaking of playby's.. having less characters = easier. if you have not posted with a character within a month, the faceclaim is liable to be taken by someone else. its not fair to have them lying around when someone else could be using them. also, if you have not posted with your character(s) within two weeks before making another application, then you cannot make another character.
• we suggest you have 3-4 characters at the very most. it's difficult to keep up with all of them without one of them slipping away.
• there's word going around that proboards is closing down sites that contain mature content. so please keep graphic down to the minimal - like sex, drugs use, and violence. not that there cannot be any, but nothing too graphic. insinuations or skipping, you get what we mean! PG-13.
• humans only site, real life! no fantasy stuff.
• of course, liquid time is allowed! characters may be in more than one place at a time.
• you can post more than one character in a post, as long as you're not using them say gang up on another person's character.
• please do not post in threads that have reservations on them - and look at the open threads before posting!
• threads that have not been responded to within a month are allowed to be sent to the archives.
• you have a week to finish a post, otherwise it is sent to the archives.
• you have a week to finish an application, or else it will be deleted. we don't want that floating around forever! plus, it will probably help you get over your procrastination.
• write your character name as follows: 'First Last' OR, you may include a middle, like: 'First Middle Last' these are the only exceptions.
• lastly, if you're going to join: be active! just know what you're getting into. if you're busy with a ton of school work or something at the moment, then maybe this isn't the time for you to join a site. if you're just gonna sign up then disappear for the rest of forever, don't bother. we'll end up deleting you and all your work. we don't need empty accounts laying around. but, if you aren't gonna do that.. and you are so ready for some posting action.. welcome to the site! :)
