one may think we're alright,
but we need pills to sleep at night. Chewing down on my lower lip and playing with my lip ring a tad, i listened to his words but allowed my gaze to stick to the floor infront of me. I chose my words carefully, and took gentle deep breaths to be sure that what i wanted to say was exactly what i wanted him to hear. Since i seemed to have a problem with that. Finally, i lifted my head a bit and looked over at him, still biting down on my lip before i drew in a breath and cleared my throat. "Because.... because i thought that you weren't over Ashlee and i didnt want the committment to hurt you.." I exhaled slowly. "But being with Alex is the... worst thing ive done to myself, and Gage, im sorry.. but if i could i'd have chose you from the start." I resulted back and bit down on my lip. Unsure of how he would take that.

I listened to her speak, and as she mentioned Ashlee's name, it really hadn't affected or phased me in the slightest, like it used to. "I just don't want to feel second-best." I said, moving toward her and wrapping my arms around her once more. "But hell, Chess, you're-you're the greatest thing to ever happen to me.." I said with a small smile. "And we're not even together." I laughed slightly at this, before pausing momentarily, kissing the top of her head lightly. "Honestly.." Again. Pause. Breath. "I love you, Chess.."

but we need pills to sleep at night. I listened to him and nodded some, just listening to everything he said before answering to it all in full. He then hugged me and a gentle smile came to my face as the next words made me the happiest i actually ever was before. "you're the greatest thing to happen to me too, Gage. and i dont want you to feel second best, because i'm going to call it off with alex. he isnt worth messing with my heart anymore..." I exhaled quietly. I snuggled close to him in his arms and leaned up some, kissing him gently but letting it linger just enough to be meaningful, on his lips, before pulling away with a gentle bright white smile and a whisper. "I love you too, Gage."

It sure was good to hear all of that in return, and I smiled brightly as she leaned in to kiss me. After announcing that she would soo break it off with Alex, I now felt t was okay, for some reason. Was it wrong to already be considering her as mine? I didn't think so. I accepted her kiss, kissing back, and only letting up for her to whisper her love for me in reply. My stomach seemed to drop just hearing those words, and I laid back lightly agint the couch, my hands carressing her face once more as I kissed her over and over again. Damn, these are moments I wished would last an enternity.

but we need pills to sleep at night. Smiling, i just continued to kiss him and lean into him more and more until i was pretty much laying on him when he had layed back. I smiled some, happily, cuddling closely into him. He was so different compared to Alex, and i happened to really love the difference. Alex was such a preppy kid compared to me. But Gage seemed to be that perfect other half, and i felt so comfortable with him instead of constantly looking out for the next whore to cross his path. Gage wouldn't do that. I continued to kiss him some though before i moved my kisses to his neck and rested my head on his shoulder, gently kissing his neck softly. "Gage, do you mind the way i dress?" I asked softly and slowly, curious about his views on the thing Alex and i argued most about.

unorthodox, sexy, what's next?
I thoroughly enjoyed it when she kissed along my jaw and neck, smiling as her lips traced down my face before laying her head upon my shoulder. I rested my arm behind her, on the back of the couch, finding her next question a bit random. "The way you dress?" I repeated out loud, wondering at first if she meant how she didn't put much into her outfit today. But she wouldn't have meant that, especially the way she said it and her quiet, paced tone of voice. She must have been referring to the outfits that were a little more..revealing. It didn't bother me any, so I was curious as to why she was asking, but figured it'd be better to give a straight answer first. "I don't mind it at all, Chess.." I paused, grinning a bit. "I mean, guys can look all they want but, as long as they aren't touching, there's no problem." As I said "touching" I spanked and grabbed her butt playfully with a small laugh. Moments later, composure was gained and I inquired gently what previously befuddled me. "Why do you ask, Chess?"

Feeling all his gestures, i raised an eyebrow slightly and layed across him more, resting my hands at his sides and looking down at him with that very same raised eyebrow and gentle crooked smile broke across my face. I tilted my head one way and listened to him, agreeing with everything he said. Then the last part came and i exhaled slowly, chewing on my lip again and letting my gaze linger into his stunning blue ones before reluctantly pulling away. "Because, thats all Alex thinks about when hes with me.. is how everyone around him wants me or something like that, and hes super protective i guess. We got in an argument the other day about a tattoo photoshoot that i had, and had to wear a low cut dress for.." I said softly, returning my green gaze back to his bright baby blues once again.
