a brain that never stops ticking,
Midnight thrills with a glorious dash of puke and popcorn. It never got old. This was the place everyone had to at least been once to in their entire life. With those shitty andy dumps, accommodations just couldn't get any better, along with the trash that filtered and overflowed practically everywhere. But, hey, what could you do? That wasn't the point of focus in the entire experience, it was the events and attractions the area held.
This in itself was just humorous. The fact that Claude was waltzing in this place, all over again, of course. It was only a few years back that he was incredibly fearful of heights, but he found a way to deal with these rides. Somewhat of a way to let go of the idea of certain death or fatality. Reflecting back on that day, he couldn't help but grin to himself. Back in the day when Conner and him did practically everything together, when they were really good friends. Even more than that, but he didn't like dangling on the thought. It was the past, he had let it go, and it was over. In no way was it going to prevent him from coming here and having a good time. It wasn't like the only person he could count on for happiness was his old friend, right? He had moved on. Or, so he thought. Some part of his mind, deep in the back corners of his head, doubted that. He'd probably deny that till the day he died if you asked him, or, at least, if his thoughts continued to go on like this.
Apparently, he was just going to meet the chick there. Angela. He had met the girl over two months ago, back at the pier, and it was just strange how fast you could get to know someone. Once he had found how much they had in common, which branched out from the root of music interest, they had been conversing quite a lot. He didn't exactly think anything of it, just the raw idea of friends like everyone else he knew, but there was probably something else going on. Maybe that's why he invited her to go with him to the carnival in the first place. Sure, they had hung out a couple times before, sometimes with people and other times not, so it wasn't that big of a deal. Just the carnival, right?
It was even more amusing that the last time he really was at this exact carnival was with Conner. Dang, he needed to get that out of his thoughts. He scratched the back of his head, foggy breath contrasting with the air, with his eyes searching for the whereabouts of Angie. Simple nickname he liked to call her. That, or it was ginger. That thought alone made him entirely think of a new one. Man, this was gonna be good. Ariel. Ha. She liked the ocean, right? And she had some killer, scarlet hair. It fit well, or so, he thought. Always the charismatic one, wasn't he?
Pulling out his phone, he texted her: im here meet me at the fris whl. Lazy texter. At least you could read what he wrote. Walking up to the booth that sold those 'unlimited ride wristbands', he bought two of them. He fumbled to tape one down on his wrist, while he walked to the ferris wheel, and then halted nearby it. His eyes scanned away from her, finding no trace of that scarlet headed girl..
sometimes an on-off switch would sure come in handy

Running around in my circles
She had met this guy one ordinary day, at the pier, where she had been playing guitar and he had noticed her. Now, that was what.. two months?... ago. She was amazed over, just how short that amount of time had seemed. In the beginning, she had been very shy and awkward, but the guy, Claude, had not let her go, and it paid off. All the akwardness had left after some times, where they had been together, either alone or with other friends. They had even been writing that song and recording it into her computer. Today, or tonight, he had asked her, if she wanted to go to the carnival with him, and of course she had accepted. She loved spending time with him. He was one of a few, who had broken through her shell and gotten into her heart. She really felt comfortable in his company. Many times, she had been thinking about finally telling him her past, but she never got to it. She did not like that subject very not, so she tended to find excuses, so she didn't have to tell him.
She smiled to herself, when she was thinking about him. He kind of had that effect on her. She just couldn't help herself. She always ended up standing like a fool, with a huge smile on her lips. Many times, she told herself, that he was only a friend, but every once in a while the thought sneaked into her head, that they could be cute together. That, she couldn't stand. She did not want to loose that one good friend, so she threw thoughts of that away, hoping, that she wasn't too obvious.
The wind blew her hair a bit around, as the redhaired skinny pale girl moved through the carnival, looking curiously on all the things she passed by. It kind of brought her back to a childhood, she never really had before, so her eyes were wide, and her mouth shaped in a little 'O'. She smiled a bit and started to look after the blonde Claude, with ashy blue eyes, who should be somewhere in there. After all, it couldn't be so hard to find him, even though it was a medium sized park. But it was not that crowded right now. She felt her phone vibrate and lurked it out of her pocket, on the light blue jeans. She quickly skimmed through the text, automatically starting to smile again. im here meet me at the fris whl. she read and looked up, to locate, where exactly that was. It did not take long for her to find one of those huge maps in the middle of it all. Concentrated, she looked on it, while tracing her fingers, following some lines, and reading what it said. Then she pulled back and started walking down the road, knowing where she would end up.
It did not take long, until she had walked to the place, and she saw his figure standing beside it, so she smiled to herself and sneaked closer, trying to ambush him from behind. She was very clumsy usually, but she sneaked all close to him, and put her hands in front of his eyes, giggling a little to herself.
,,Guess who” She whispered into his ear, smiling widely. Her head tilted a bit to the side, and she let go of him, expecting him to turn around. She really wouldn't mind getting a hug. Even though she was ever so shy, she loved hugs and being cared for so much. You could call her a hug-addict in some way, even though there weren't many who got that close to her. She let her eyes wander over him again, thinking a bit to herself, but not really showing it, in any way. She bit her lower lip before smiling at him again. ,,Hello you” She greeted him, feeling how happy she was in that moment. She still did not unerstand how someone could make her so happy, even though she hadn't known him for more than a few months. She usually did not let people that in, that easy! But he had run straight through her defences. Feeling like a child once again _ - ^ - _ NotesNotes: Yays! Sorry if there is any faults in the gramma's and all that.. I was too tired to look through it xD It's gonna be great to not having them all awkward! Outfit: www.polyvore.com/carnival/set?id=23226688

i don't know if you noticed anything different
Several screams split the air behind him, which caused him to falter forward a few steps. He really had not been to a carnival in a while, had he? That completely caught him off guard. He blinked, his ashy eyes staring up at the Super Shot as it rose to its ultimate height, all before dropping the victims to the ground yet again. He had never been on that thing, and he sure as hell didn't want to. Hopefully the Little Mermaid wouldn't be dragging on on to anything too drastic. She didn't exactly seem like the dare-devil-type, but..
Then again, maybe she was. With any speck of light stripped from him, he blinked against her soft palms. He wasn't exactly frightened, but the shock still stung him a bit. What was he supposed to expect next? Maybe everything was just out to get him. The corners of his lips instantly tugged into that classic Claude grin. He totally got who this was, especially when she started giggling. Did she really find this that funny? He couldn't help but laugh at how much humor she got out of it. Reaching up, he took her hands off of his face, and turned to face her. "Ariel! Yeah, that little mermaid from the sea! Have to say, you got me.. but ya better watch out.. I'll get you back twice as bad. Just saying.." And, as always, he reached out his arm to the side and around her shoulders in a big ole 'bear' hug. "Hey yourself. Did you get lost? Dude.. -.. Dudette. I haven't been here in forever.. Where do you wanna go?" He handed her the green wrist band that allowed you on any ride, for an unlimited amount of times.
Yeah, you could go over. And over. And over again. Realistically, you should get tired only after a couple of high energy, long awaited lines, but you think ahead of yourself. Your eyes get a bit larger than your stomach, so you take more than you need.. and, hey, that's how the carnival gets payed. That whole twenty five bucks wasn't the best of deals, but, hey, at least it was easier to keep track of a plastic wristband than some bundle of tickets. "Oh yeah, Jake and some other people are hanging around.. so we could meet up with them later if ya want." He walked along side her, putting on his own wristband if he hadn't already. "Any rides you wanna go on first? We might wanna eat after.. Just so, you know.. your weak stomach doesn't go on a rampage all over everyone.."
it's getting dark & it's getting cold & the nights are getting long
outfit, click tunes, this is the thing - fink notes, haha i know! & sorry that took a while. :D lots of convo is encouraged!

Walking the streets with you in your worn out jeans. I can’t help thinking this is how it ought to be She looked at him, grinning wider than she usually did. Well, she did not smile a lot usually, except when she was with Claude. His good moods tended to rub off and make her just as happy as him. So just seeing him now, made her feel some kind of rush go through her body, and immediately raise her mood to a higher level. It had all ready been very good, because of the carnival with the lights, the joyful screams and smiling kids. It all affected her mood someway. She hugged him lightly again, blushing a little from the contact. Of course she felt more comfortable when she was with him, but she still tended to blush once in a while. Lately, it had been when they had physical contact. She didn’t know if he had noticed that, but she sure did hope he hadn’t!
She was still smiling as she backed away from him, to take a little look into his ashy blue eyes. She managed to hold the eye contact for quite a while. Then she glanced around, while running a pale white hand through her long curly hair, that she had ‘puffed’ a bit that day so it wasn’t all normal loose hair.
,,Ariel?.. So now I’m being compared to a mermaid too? I don’t really know, if I should take that as a compliment or an insult” She laughed to him and shrugged a bit, throwing him a teasing glance. She gently pushed him a little to the side with her shoulder before smiling in a sweet innocent way, as if it had not been her, at all. She looked to the side, on the Super Shot, quickly making grimaces and pulling away from that direction. It just seemed... Scary, in some weird way. Well, first of all, because she had never in her life been on a carnival before, so the only place she had seen stuff like that, were if she watched TV. So seeing it in real life were both fascinating and scary. She didn’t think such a thing would be that huge! ,,Oh my God.. I’m so scared now. But ain’t I too sweet for you to get back at me?” Her voice were teasing as she replied to his little threat and she tilted her head to the side as she looked back on him , trying to look as sweet at possible. Big eyes, biting her lower lip a bit, and her head to the side. She curled some of her hair around one of her fingers and blinked a couple of times pretty fast. Then she couldn’t hold a sweet little laugh back, and she turned back to a normal facial expression. Relaxed but still careful. She was so curious about everything, and couldn’t find enough things to take a look at. ,,I’ve never been to a place like this before.. It’s so huge! So I guess that makes it pretty clear, that I was lost. Well, basically I can get lost anywhere, if I don’t have a map” One more fact revealed to him. She was starting telling him much more things about herself, so he would get to know her better, than he already did. She took the plastic band from him and turned it a bit in her hands, figuring out how to put it on. Then she fumbled to get it around her wrist. At least she knew what that was for, even though she hadn’t been at a carnival before. She had heard that many times, discussions about whether or not the wristband were a good thing or a bad thing. She chewed on her lower lip and finally got it fastened around her wrist. She ran a finger over it before looking up to him again. She raised one brow when he mentioned that Jake and some others were around there too. She had been thinking, that Claude and her were going to be alone, and that it had been because he really liked spending time with her, that he invited her, and not somebody else. She remembered the last time they had been with Jake. He had some habit with making everything a big deal to draw attention. The last time they were together, he had been all so sure that Claude and Angela were a couple and he started asking people if they weren’t cute. Of course she didn’t dislike him. He was a nice guy! But he had his flaws like everybody else. She really didn’t know if she was geared for it that night, so she shrugged a bit, smiling to Claude – the good looking guy with gorgeous ashy eyes and blonde hair. ,,Sounds nice.. But I don’t know if I want to today. I’ll find out, OK?” She told him, sounding humble and relaxed in her tone. She looked around to figure out, what she’d like to do, and what she didn’t want to do. She smiled when she saw a carrousel somewhere and she pointed in it’s direction. She had always loved the way those things looked, so trying one would be amazing. Again that childish feeling returned to her, and she took some longer steps towards it, decided. She looked back to him with a little laugh before reaching out to him. She took one of his hands and dragged him along. ,,Come on, little turtle! We don’t have a lifetime here, do we?” Laughing on the park bench thinking to myself Hey isn’t this easy? _ - ^ - _ OtherLyrics: You belong with me – Taylor Swift Notes: Sorrybif it doesn’t make any sense xD I was half asleep while I wrote it all xD Been a tough week :I Outfit: www.polyvore.com/carnival/set?id=23226688

never in all my life
"Ariel?.. So now I’m being compared to a mermaid too? I don’t really know if I should take that as a compliment or an insult” His head nodded, lips stretching into a grin all over again. "Yup. Looks like it. Fits, doesn't it? Don't look at it like a bad thing!" Enthusiastic with how he talked, as always. Getting the vibe that he could be entertaining to her only prodded him to do it more. Claude wasn't over the top about it. Well, about being high strung and cocky with his attitude, in other words.
Claude brought himself to a short halt when she attempted to push him. "Whoa, what was that, Ariel? You trying to wrestle me down here?! Dang, your really strong.." He sputtered a bit of a laugh, shaking his head at her worthless attempt. It wasn't to put her down, he just found it funny. The two teased each other a lot, didn't they? "Oh my God.. I’m so scared now. But ain’t I too sweet for you to get back at me?” "..Maybe. .." His eyebrows furrowed in thought once he got glimpse of her expression. Instead of saying yeah, he went an entirely new direction. Claude's expression lifted a bit, not exactly expecting that from her. It wasn't a bad thing, though. In fact, it made him laugh. Only made that smile even broader.
"...Nah. Never. Your terrible.. my arm is gonna have a nasty bruise tomorrow. Just wait!" He strode next to her, ashy eyes taking in his surroundings, attaching to every machine that sputtered noise and spun in motion. Yeah, he had that walk. With the skinny jeans that swagged, but, hey, it wasn't like they were down to his knees. It was just the look of today. Not like he couldn't pull it off damn good, either.
There was so much going on that he almost lost track of himself.. not that everything Angie was doing was distracting in itself. "I’ve never been to a place like this before.. It’s so huge! So I guess that makes it pretty clear, that I was lost. Well, basically I can get lost anywhere, if I don’t have a map” He didn't expect that either. Wasn't she just full of surprises? "Seriously? You've never been to a carnival? Ha. That's okay.. it's pretty confusing at first. Once you get the hang of it it isn't, though. No worries, yeah? I've got this place down like the back of my hand. Ha."
Sounds nice.. But I don’t know if I want to today. I’ll find out, OK?” Claude was actually relieved she turned down the idea. Yeah, Jake and the rest of his buddies were fun, but.. they kind of got in the way. In more ways than one. Something else about her response stuck out to him, and that was just how she decided to react in itself. He was glad she had a mind, that if she didn't want to do it, she said something about it. Claude wasn't a mind reader, so it was relieving to know she'd just let him know what was going on instead of getting upset and silent about it. The last girl he dealt with was like that. "Alright, sounds good to me." He nodded his head in her direction, giving a brief smile. Nothing short of happy.
His brows rose when she grabbed his hand, but he didn't do anything that gave off the idea he disliked it. Claude just went along with it. "Come on, little turtle! We don’t have a lifetime here, do we?” He let out a warm laugh, almost grinning a bit out of his control. It only made him thank himself over and over for coming up with the idea. For sticking to his guns and coming with her. It was worth it. "Haha! Well, at least I'm not that crab critter, yeah? He's pretty crank. We can call Jake that crab dude.." Walked right on after her, curious to see where she was taking him.
Dang, did it really have to be that ride? He didn't mind, but, man, this was gonna be embarrassing. He guessed it didn't matter though. As long as he was with Angie. "Angie, really?! This thing?" He laughed, staring up at it as they stepped in the line. They probably looked like a couple, holding hands like that. What was funny was that Claude didn't really mind. Might as well just let people think what they want to. There wasn't much you could do about that, either way. "If you say so.. I might as well tell everyone your five." He was still smiling, just staring at the thing as it ran in circles over and over again. At least it wasn't the Super Shot. Heights were not in his favor..
The machine stammered to a halt, kids giggling and hopping off the ride, scurrying to their parents. A few older people were on it, too, but none around their age. He didn't care. Claude leaned down to her ear, pushed her forward a bit, and urged her ahead excitedly. "GO. Go, go, go! C'mon!" Showing the man his wristband, he hurried onto the ride with her, and hopped up on one of the many horses next to Angie. Really, whichever one she chose. He didn't really have any specific one to ride in mind. "ARE YOU READY?" He shouted over the music, grinning. "Oh shi-.. HERE WE GO. Yeaaah, dude! WHOO." Making a comedy out of it already.

Walking the streets with you in your worn out jeans. I can’t help thinking this is how it ought to be She still didn’t really know if she liked the nickname or not. The little mermaid was kind of known for being a bit naïve and stupid, so she hoped it wasn’t that part of being Ariel he was thinking about. She giggled a little, as he assured her, that it wasn’t an insult. She decided to trust him, as she did most of the time. She took a quick look at him again, and smiled, just so very happy, that he had invited her, and not any other girl. She was pretty sure, that he probably had many friends, who would be much more fun and daredevil-ish than herself. He still didn’t seem to regret the decision of bringing her, so she kept on feeling happy. ”Will I get the prince of my dreams too then?” she asked him, raising a brow and trying to look very serious, as if the question were of big importance. But it was hard holding the rising laughter back, and she ended up hiding behind the soft palms of her hands. She shrugged a bit. If she didn’t get the prince, she would find someone else good enough for her. Though, she wasn’t really sure, what good enough were. So she’d probably end up with someone who treated her wrong. She just had that gene that said that she would do all the wrong picks. "Whoa, what was that, Ariel? You trying to wrestle me down here?! Dang, your really strong.."She nodded very seriously, shaping her mouth as an ‘O’, while raising her brows. ”Yeah, youre gonna end up dead, because of my killer skills”. She said in a dark tone, trying to sound real scary, even though she knew, that she probably wasn’t the most frightening thing on earth. Probably not the third most.. or fourth most.. She smiled to herself and looked at him from the corner of her eye. ”You sure you’re gonna be alive to see that bruise?” she said, keeping on that scary way of being, of course referring to the earlier sentence about her killer skills. Then they started walking around and they both got dragged into the whole atmosphere of the carnival. She didn’t even notice that he became more silent too, so she didn’t mind. He asked her, if she got lost, and she had to admit that she had, and revealed to him, that she had never been to a carnival before. She listened to what he had to say and nodded a bit. He was probably right. Until she was able to find her way herself, she was just going to follow him, if he, as he said, had it down like the back of his hand. She would just have to trust, that he would make sure they didn’t get lost, as they would if she decided where to go. ”If we get lost, I’m gonna blame you” she said, just to tease him a bit. They did that a lot, she noticed. Teasing each other, but it was in a friendly way, so hopefully none of them got hurt from what was said. She was glad he accepted, that she might not want to go see Jake and the others, and he didn’t seem bothered by it at all. At some point, she thought he actually looked relieved. Maybe he didn’t really want to go either? Well, she had all ready decided, that she didn’t want to. She just said it in a nice way, so no one would get hurt from the way she talked. She was always pretty careful about that. She didn’t want to hurt people. She would just get a bad feeling about that! She laughed one of her pearly little laughs as he started calling Jake a crab. ”Oh right. Turtle is much better than crab, you’re right about that” she told him and nodded convinced about it. Of course it was. Well, Claude was better than Jake in any way, no matter what, so that was basically what made her draw the conclusion, that a turtle was better than a crab. ”He reminds me of a crab actually. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to talk to him again”. Of course she was joking, and it was easy to see in her beautiful brown-green eyes. She giggled a little and stretched out for a second, while thinking to herself, how great it was hanging with Claude alone again. "Angie, really?! This thing? If you say so.. I might as well tell everyone your five.". She rolled her eyes, still laughing gently. She didn’t mind what he was saying, since she knew it was all joking, and nothing really had been able to ruin their friendship yet, so she was pretty sure, that a ride in a carrousel couldn’t ruin it either. She shrugged a little while looking at him. ,,yes really, this thing!” she demanded of him, and dragged him along. She did not really think about, that she didn’t let go of his hand for a while, while they were standing in the queue. But as soon as she noticed, she quickly let go, blushing a little and giggling. She ran a hand through her hair, trying to play casual, even though it was hard. ,,well.. You have to be five at one point in your life” she said, knowing that she was telling him, she never was. All the moving around had really stolen away a lot of her child-ness in many ways, so coming to a place like this really made her go into that phase again. Almost.. She still felt it burn where they had been holding hands, and she felt like a dumb little teenage girl, when she was reacting that way about such a little thing. She got pushed forward onto the ride as it stopped and the kids left. She laughed from his excitement, which of course weren’t real, but a way of making it a lot of fun. She held her arms around her stomach, when it started to hurt from the laughter. He just looked so very funny sitting on that ‘horse’ acting like a little child. It was so silly, but also very very cute, and she loved seeing him like that. And in all her “evil-ness” she let him make a fool of himself alone xD. Well, she wasn’t evil. Just too shy to start yelling and being looked at, even though she was pretty sure, that it was fun. Laughing on the park bench thinking to myself Hey isn’t this easy? _ - ^ - _ OtherLyrics: You belong with me – Taylor Swift Notes: Tadaaaah! xD I had so much fun writing this! xD Claude is just too cute!! :O Outfit: www.polyvore.com/carnival/set?id=23226688

when your dreaming with a broken heart, waking up is the hardest part..
"Will I get the prince of my dreams too then?” Claude took it as a joke, or at least something along those lines, and laughed in response to her question. "If you keep punching like that you might kill him first.." ”Yeah, you're gonna end up dead, because of my killer skills.” "Oh, oh, ooooh really now?" His brows rose at her words, teeth flashing in another grin. You sure you’re gonna be alive to see that bruise?” "Oh, shit! This chick is serious! HA. Ya see that?" He glanced around, arms raising up at a man who was staring. His serious voice broke. He just couldn't take that, and broke out into laughing. The guy just gave him the biggest what-the-hell face you could think of. Poor dude.. "Yeah I think he saw.." Too damn funny.
”If we get lost, I’m gonna blame you” "Uh-huh.. is that right? I'm just that chill turtle, yeah? I know where I'm going, you just don't. That makes you accountable, Ariel. I'm.. from the EAC? East Australian Current? Damn how do I remember that movie even.. Finding some fish? Finding Nemo, right.." Alright, so, he loved that movie. Well, at least the turtles. They were just awesome. Marlin or whoever could go die in a hole because he just sucked at being a dad, but.. that turtle? Best father you could have.. if you were a turtle. ”Oh right. Turtle is much better than crab, you’re right about that." "Anyday." ”He reminds me of a crab actually. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to talk to him again.” "...Hahaha! I'm so telling him that.. Your dead.." He laughed.
"Yes really, this thing!” "Alright, alright! Crazy redhead.." He mumbled the last part, obviously joking.
Okay, so, maybe carnivals.. or at least all of these crazy rides just weren't his thing. Going around in a circle on the carousel over and over again made the guy feel nauseous. Surfer's head just kept on spinning. No wave made him turn this many times, that was for sure. That only made him realize they could have been out surfing, but, then again, this was for Angie.. not him. He just wanted to make sure that they did what she wanted to do, that they had a good time. Claude wasn't a goody-two-shoes, but he liked being the gentlemen. Not literally, with a suit and tie and all. He didn't exactly talk like one either, but it could be seen from his actions and how he took part of things. How he looked at it.
"Well.. You have to be five at one point in your life.” "Yeah and that's passed.. obviously not for you, though.."
Once the ride was over, he hopped right off that thing, raising his eyebrows, furrowing them, and blinking. Claude even rubbed his eyes. "Whoa, alright.. Never again. None of that.. you had your five year old.. point of your life.. now it's over.." He shook his head, laughing a bit."Alright. Next one. My choice. Scrambler! Go!" After a few rides, he felt like it was more than enough. Plus, they were probably getting pretty tired of them.. all of the dips and scoops, the spins and flips. "Wanna play a few booth games or something? There's a fish one.. Uh.. " His eyes scanned the various ones that spread for what seemed miles. They just went on and on, didn't they? You could win practically anything.. posters, drawings, fish.. but what people mainly did was the whole stuffed animal thing. Everyone did it, especially when they were in couples. "Could win a fish.. Ariel, fits your name.. maybe your lucky in that. Orrrr.. stuffed animal.. or just that watergun race game.. Or what about those guns? I bet I'll beat-cha in all of these, ha." '
you roll out of bed, and down onto your knees.. and for a moment you can hardly breathe.
outfit, click tunes, dreaming with a broken heart - john mayer notes, haha i see a smiley in your post! xD this is fun to rp :) I time skipped a few rides to keep the thread going if that's alright.. just so we don't have to sit there and explain each ride and stuff and to keep it moving along. :D <33

Walking the streets with you in your worn out jeans. I can’t help thinking this is how it ought to be
She laughed a bit, gently and sweet as always. She just had that kind of laugh. The one who could charm the most cold-hearted person on the world. She shook her head a bit and locked her gaze on him again, trying to figure something out unconsiously. She wasn't entirely sure, just what she was thinking about in that moment. Maybe something in the direction of: >>Could he be the dream prince?<<. She blushed a tiny bit and looked away, turning her head casually, instead of in a hurry, so he wouldn't be suspicious about it. ”Oh right! I better stop punching...” She said, throwing a serious glance at him, before laughing out again. ,,Or not.. Would be a bore.” She blushed as he yelled and raised his hands, drawing on attention. She hushed and put one hand in front of his mouth, and the other onto his hands, trying to pull it down again. She shook her head but ended up finding it kind of funny anyway. She pushed him gently to the side, letting a sweet giggle escape from her lips. He started quoting that cute child movie, Finding Nemo. A movie she had been obsessed with ever since she saw it the first time. It still had the first place over the list of her favorite movies. She looked on him in a teasing way as she started saying: ,,Just keep swimming, just keep swimming, swimming, swimming. She loved Dory, the forgetful clumsy fish, who didn't have a family, but was a social creature anyway. At some points, Angela related to her, silly enough. She had horror painted in her face, when he was talking about ratting out to Jake. She quickly shook her head! ”Please don't! He will kill me... And you would miss me then” She threw him the most angelic look she could, with her head tilted to the side, and big eyes. Then they got to the ride, which she actually quite enjoyed, even though it was spinning around. Opposite Claude, who obviously wasn't good with that kind of thing, so she chewed on her lip, trying to figure out, whether or not to apologize for dragging him into that. But he seemed pretty happy afterward, so she didn't say anything yet. They tried quite a lot of other things, before she was pretty sure her head couldn't stop spinning, and she couldn't take anything more, unless it was one of those slow things, who didn't give you that easy rush, you always searched for, when you spent time in an amusement park. To her luck, he suggested for them to try some of the booths, so she nodded to him and looked around all the different ones, without being able to decide. She giggled and shrugged a bit embarrassed. ”Yeah, you could probably win all of that stuff. I have no talent at all.” Yet, she followed him to the shooting-thingy and raised one eyebrow. She wasn't really into being violent, but she wanted to do something he enjoyed too, so she smiled in a challenging way and took one of the guns, telling him, that he was going to loose so bad. She knew, that wasn't true in any way, but well.. it was amusing to challenge him and see him get all focused, even though he had no competition and probably knew it too. ”Maybe we can go try that ferris wheel-thingy to get to relax before eating something?” she suggested to him, after him winning at the booth, even though she really had done what she was able to. At some point, she had been close to catching up with him, but then she just sucked again and gave up trying to win. It had been fun, that was true! She took his hand, as she went towards the ferris wheel. Laughing on the park bench thinking to myself Hey isn’t this easy? _ - ^ - _ OtherLyrics: You belong with me – Taylor Swift Notes: Im sorry about the shortness, hope you won't die XD Outfit: www.polyvore.com/carnival/set?id=23226688

and i have to speculate that god himself did make
"What, am I embarrassing ya?!" Claude grinned, letting out a couple of laughs. So, she could drag him around on these little kid rides.. and he couldn't yell out in public? Well, not that he couldn't, but she obviously was embarrassed by it. He found it kind of amusing, actually, seeing her freak out like that. Her shook his head, finally giving in to her pleads. "Alright, alright! I'm quiet." He mumbled against her hand, pushing it away, but still grinning. He was sure he'd get his revenge eventually, if he didn't forget about it while she did. Ha-ha.
"Just keep swimming, just keep swimming, swimming, swimming." The idea hit him. "Oh. Yeah. You are totally Dory. One hundred and ten percent Dory-fied.." Flashed a white smile her way. Her and Dory had that same complex of wanting to ride a carousel, even if it was for five year olds. They both seemed to be.. ADD. Distracted, but, hey, not in a bad way. For Angela's case, at least. "Please don't! He will kill me... And you would miss me then." His brows rose in reaction to her sudden outbreak of worry. He really hoped she knew he was entirely joking, if she didn't, well, that only added to the humor. "Ha.. I just might.. Could use a little peace and quiet from this little Ariel, Dory.. creature. Huh?" He jabbed at her side with his elbow, as if asking her to agree.
His ashy eyes continued to scan the booths that were available. If she didn't decide, then the decision was surely up to him, as much as he'd rather have her do it. The best thing to do in order to be satisfied was to speak your mind.. Especially if you were a chick with a dude at a carnival. The gun game looked fulfilling, and right when he came up with the thought, she chose that specific one. He laughed at her excitement along with how ironic that just was. "Yeah, you could probably win all of that stuff. I have no talent at all." "Oh yeah? Probably. I mean, look at you, you can't even walk straight.." Teasing, teasing. He laughed. "I'm sure you could get some.. C'mon." He pushed her ahead a bit, but not in anyway rough. Just urging her forward.
Walking over to the game with some sort of whacked out name dealing with the West and shotguns, he payed the man a few bucks for both him and Angela. Standing in front of the gun, he watched out for any of those animal targets that popped up, and fired away. Yeah, he liked games, and he liked winning, but he didn't get too cocky about it. "Alright. Next time.. your gonna try harder than that. I smashed you to pieces.." He said, leaving the game by her side, laughing.
”Maybe we can go try that ferris wheel-thingy to get to relax before eating something?” "Yeah, sure. If ya want. Up to you.. I'm just gonna say I'm done with all of the rides that flip and spin." He laughed. It took him a moment to realize, but once they were nearing the ferris wheel, he put two and two together. That thing was way up there. Well, at least his fear of heights wasn't as bad as it used to be.. but that thing was freaking tall. Ah well, he'd suck it up. "Thing is big. Sure your not scared?" Didn't want to look like a loser in front of Angela. Hopefully she wasn't gonna be a lunatic chick and rock the thing all over the place. He was sure she wouldn't. Plus, the view would be worth it, right?
He stood in line with Angela, eventually getting on the ride. "So, you still living in the downtown apartments with your brother?" Just curious. It was good to hear what was going on in her life, anyway, aside from his boring one. With how many rides they had hopped on and off of, he was glad he snagged the wristbands while they were still selling. They probably saved him a lot of cash. "Oh yeah. And what are you thinkin' about majoring in?" College question, whoo. Here they were, going up in the air. The thing was creaky and that kind of freaked him out mentally. He didn't show any of that, hopefully. He just played it cool. "I'm thinking about eventually becoming a fireman or something.. Doctor.. Dunno really. I don't really wanna go big on music.. I'd rather have that a side thing, ya'know? Don't wanna get caught up in the fame. If i was ever famous.." He gave a laugh at the last part, leaning back in the seat next to her. His eyes scanned the horizon beyond them when they reached the peak of the ferris wheel, all before diving under and coming back up again. "Not gonna lie, awesome view.. Kinda freaky at the same time."

Well I've blown so many chances that I Ain't gonna blow this chance with you
What, am I embarrassing ya? he asked and she nodded in a hurry, still holding her hands in front of his mouth to make him shut up or just lower his voice a bit. She didn't like all the stares, even though he found it very much fun. She couldn't hold a sweet little giggle back from her lips as she stood there grabbing one of his arms and pressing her palm onto his mouth. She didn't let go until he surrendered. Laughing she let go of him and glanced around in the park before messing around in his hair and changing the subject to Finding Nemo. This time she was compared to the little forgetful fish Dory. Funny he had so much for the ocean and creatures living in it. She liked Dory better than Ariel, a naive little mermaid who were quite a lot foolish, for no other reason than being bored. Then Dory were better, since she actually had a reason for being as she were. ”I can live with that. Dory is so cute, which must mean than you think I'm cute” A glance in his direction showing her teasing. She wasn't serious of course, since she was positive, that she wasn't cute at all. She actually was, with all her adorable little laughs, shy way of being and carefulness. But she didn't know that, and therefore had the opinion, that she wasn't cute or lovely in any way, and that no one would think otherwise. "Ha.. I just might.. Could use a little peace and quiet from this little Ariel, Dory.. creature. Huh?"She pushed him a bit to the side, trying to act insulted by his comment. Of course she knew he wasn't serious, but might as well get some fun out of it, right? ”Oh my God.. Youre so not my friend anymore. I'm gonna kill you anyway”” She was teasing, no doubt about that, but she managed to act very well anyway. Then she broke out into a sweet laughter and she moved forward again, shaking her head. She moved to the booths, ignoring his comment about her not being able to walk straight. Not because it hurt. Just because she didn't have anything to say back to him. Damn his perfectness! And he won, not to her surprise. She stuck out her tongue in lack of better reply, but then got a grip and laughed a little. ”I'm gonna win next time, ya know?. I just didn't do any effort this time” She said, smiling teasingly to him. She wasn't right about that. She did her best, but sucked anyway. That's how her life worked overall. But she didn't mind, since every once a while small glimpses of luck and joy got to her too. Like when she met Claude. That had been a highlight, and still were. So they ended up in line by the ferris wheel, which she had no problems with. She'd never been afraid of heights and didn't really think about, that he might be. "Thing is big. Sure your not scared?". She laughed and looked back at him, teasingly of course. ”No way.. are you scared little Claude?” She found that very amusing, the fact that he might be afraid of heights, since she hadn't been able to find anything un-perfect so far. This might be it! She got onto the ride and turned her gaze towards the horizon with a thoughtful expression in her face. Then she just smiled and looked at him, formulating an answer in her mind, to his questions. She was happy, that he could carry the conversation, when she got quiet. ”Yeah, I do. He just got some more work, so we'll might be able to earn a little more money and get out of there soon... You know what!? I found my little brother the other day. Luke” She looked overly happy for that fact, and really -she was. It had been one of the worst times of her life when Luke's biological parents had kidnapped him again, and one of the best, when she found him again, in the subway. She ran a hand through the long red hair, to get some time to think about college- and future-questions. ”I think I'm gonna major in either english litterature or creative writing. I think I'm gonna be a author one day and like you, have my music too, but not become famous from it. You know I don't really like the spotlight.. If I can't be author I want to be a music producer”she answered him, tilting her head curiously to the side. ”What are you majoring in?” she asked, realizing that he hadn't talked about that yet. And she was kinda embarrassed, that she was talking like a waterfall, while he was sitting quiet and listening to her babbling. When they got to the top of the ferris wheel, even she got a bit scared from the height. It was a bit higher up than she imagined. Therefore she moved a bit closer to him, so she could feel his arm against hers. It was so very tempting to reach out and take his hand, but she didn't do it, fearing that she would ruin something. She couldn't afford losing him too. And I've seen enough bad times to know The good times have begun, yeah. and i have to speculate that god himself did make
”I can live with that. Dory is so cute, which must mean than you think I'm cute.” Claude laughed in response to her words, shaking his head. "Ha, oh yeah?" Her push barely moved him, and he only laughed more at her. "Oh my God.. You're so not my friend anymore. I'm gonna kill you anyway." "I'd like to see you try.. Really." He grinned, an obviously smug expression on his face.
And, as the competitive guy he was, he won the shooting game. Wasn't that complicated"I'm gonna win next time, ya know?. I just didn't do any effort this time." "Doubt that.. What, are you just not competitive or something? Got no 'game-on' or team spirit?.. Your high school must have hated you.. Especially at rallys, huh.."
"No way.. are you scared little Claude?" He turned toward her suddenly, eyes wide, eyebrows raised, joking, but seemingly serious about her words. "NO." He then turned away from her quickly, and pretended to ignore her, but a laugh broke loose.
His gaze settled on the horizon, he took a deep breath, and relaxed. Nothing was gonna happen, it was just a nice view. ”Yeah, I do. He just got some more work, so we'll might be able to earn a little more money and get out of there soon... You know what!? I found my little brother the other day. Luke.” "Ah, that's good.." His head nodded in agreement, and he glanced her way at the 'you know what' part. She seemed so enthusiastic. "Really? Didn't know you had a little brother.. How old is he? That's good though, I mean. Killer." He flashed a big ole, white smile. ”I think I'm gonna major in either english litterature or creative writing. I think I'm gonna be a author one day and like you, have my music too, but not become famous from it. You know I don't really like the spotlight.. If I can't be author I want to be a music producer.” "Ah, gotcha, that's cool.. I don't have the patience for writing, but I'm good with lyrics I guess, ya know? And I totally agree.. Plus, I don't think I could handle the crowds and.. stalker.. fans.." He laughed at the thought of it. Honestly, that would suck. He much better preferred creating music just for the enjoyment of it.. rather than big bucks.
”What are you majoring in?” His brows raised, eyes looking somewhere else in thought. He glanced back at her once he wrapped up a response. "Huh. Well.. Lil bit of music on the side.. Sponsored surfer 'n all.. But, what I'm really going for? Some sort of medical degree. Surgeon.. that or a fire fighter. I dunno. Surfing all over the world would be awesome, too, but I would be away from everyone. Like you. But.. hey, that might be a good thing. Since, you know.. your just weird 'n all." He grinned again, teasing.
Relieved more than anything to get off that Ferris wheel. Thing was high as hell, and he even felt a bit woozy on his feet, but he kept his composure. Didn't want to look like an idiot in front of the lady. "So.. You don't want to answer this if you don't want to but.. You and your younger brother? And older? Your..parents, what all happened with your family?" He stuck his hand in his pockets and walked alongside her, heading towards the gates. "Oh yeah, wanna go to the beach and chill there?"

Well I've blown so many chances that I Ain't gonna blow this chance with you
She sent him a little teasing look with her eyes, trying to look very scary too, when he seemed to believe, that she couldn't kill him. He was right about that, but she wasn't going to let him have his way just like that. ”I could, you know. I'm just too nice. But, maybe you shouldn't be sleeping too tight tonight” her smile was insidious, and her eyes wore that same thing in them. Then she giggled and turned half away to hide it from him, but her shaking shoulders might give her away. Caleb wouldn't even let her out the apartment after eleven, so she did doubt herself, that she was going to be able to sneak out in the middle of the night to kill Claude. She wouldn't like it anyway. She liked Claude... a lot. Maybe a bit more than she would let herself admit to. Or a lot. Depended on who you asked. "Doubt that.. What, are you just not competitive or something? Got no 'game-on' or team spirit?.. Your high school must have hated you.. Especially at rallys, huh..". She shrugged a little, laughing from his comment. She had been quite good at the rally's actually, but she wasn't going to brag about that. She was too humble and so low and self-esteem, that she didn't like talking nicely about herself. ”Naaah.. I'm all right. But my school kinda hated me anyway. They were probably jealous” she laughed in a tease and shook her head. No way in hell, would her mates in high school be jealous of anything she had! A bunch of rich kids, who got whatever they wanted from their parents. They had everything. But she didn't feel sad about that. She enjoyed making her own money and knowing, that they were spent on something good. She actually believed him for a second, when he seemed all mad about her insinuating, that he was scared of heights, but then he broke into laughter and she couldn't stop laughing herself. He acted pretty well there, didn't he? She put a hand on his shoulder and followed him to the ferris wheel, where she finally loosened up and relaxed again. She tilted her head backwards a bit before taking a curious look around the horizon. It was quite gorgeous, she had to admit. "Really? Didn't know you had a little brother.. How old is he?”, she smiled to herself just by the chance of getting to talk about her beloved younger brother. She was just so happy, that something finally went right in her life. ”He's 17. We're not really blood related” she told him, tilting her head to the side in a cute way, while looking into his gorgeous blue eyes. The conversation went on about college and their plans for the future. She found everything he said interesting and it showed in the way she looked at him with a mildly look in her brown-green eyes. She laughed a bit about his stalker-fan comment and nodded in agreement. She poked him gently in the stomach teasingly. ”I'd totally be your number 1-stalker-fan” she said, trying to tease him with making big eyes and like waving her hands as one of those fan-girls who just saw their biggest idol. Then she leaned back with a little laugh and leaned her head onto his shoulder. ”Sounds cool! It's a part of my charm, being different” she said honestly and nodded a little. She had heard so many times, that she was different in a good way. So many times, that she believed it herself. Finally they got off the ferris wheel, and she stretched out a bit. Her body had been rushed around quite a lot, so suddenly sitting silently after that had made it stiff. She ran a hand through her wind-blown curly red hair while he asked her about her brothers and family. She had expected that question to come at some point and didn't go all surprised. She took a deep breath, while thinking about, how she was supposed to start. ”Story made a little shorter: My mom had a mental disease and my father was working full-time. They got Caleb, who turned out to be quite troublesome when she gave birth to me and starting to work part-time. One day it just went.. wrong in some way.. I don't know how. She ended up taking her own life, our father blaming Caleb and cutting him on the chest” She lead a hand over her chest at the exact place and in a precise line where Caleb still had scars from it. She remembered it so well. ”So we where dragged away by the child services and put in different families, who all gave up on Caleb. He was like.. mental and broken. No one knew how to handle him. I don't think moving around that much helped a lot.. In one of our families we actually stayed for a long time. That's where we met Luke and kind of adopted him in our family. His parents came and took him home after a while though, which broke Calebs heart again. So we moved around a lot but ended up where we are now.” she looked down while saying the last parts of the story. That was what she remembered and it hurt to think about it. Then she laughed carefully, looking up onto him with a vulnerable look in the eyes. ”Part of the pictures I have on my guitar is families I were in” She nodded to his last suggestion and smiled a little, still careful and all. She didn't know, how he would react to knowing her history in small parts, but she kind of hoped he would be okay. It had been tough telling him it, but she tried to hide it the best she could. So now he knew, where she came from and parts of her life she didn't tell others, unless they were very special to her. And I've seen enough bad times to know The good times have begun, yeah.
