A CERTAIN SHADE OF GREEN, TELL WHAT DO YOU MEAN?( ALL SIGNS SAY MOVE AHEAD )"Yes mom, I heard you for the millionth time. Relax, jesus."
An angered voice rang from behind the counter at the 'Flower Power' flower shop in the uptown section of Outlier. Isaac Clarke never particularly liked the name his parents picked for their flower shop, but they always paid him well and people seemed to love the arrangements that they made. So who was he to judge when the name didn't seem to do any damage to the potential customers? Sighing, he ran a hand through his messy mop of hair before looking through all the order tags on the arrangements he had finished over the past few hours. Today was Thursday, and for whatever reason the one day a week Isaac choose to work in his parents shop was always the busiest. He never actually worked a set schedule. Just told his parents what day they could expect to see him in work and at what time and they were fine with it. He could even work full time if he wanted, but he was way too lazy for that. Not to mention working there so much would definitely get on his nerves a lot.
Reading through all the names and crappy messages left upon the bequests Isaac stopped at one of the worst ones, in his opinion. He gave an even more annoyed look, sighing at the lack of creativity on his man's part. "You are my shining Star. Really dude?" he read aloud, picking up the order and trying not to think too hard at who this was going to or what kind of man he was. If Isaac was sending flowers to someone who was meaningful to him he would come up with something much more creative than that. Like if he was sending flowers to Chess - which, he planned on doing soon - he would put something much more meaningful. He reached the front of the store, His eyes taking in the appearance as he was waved down by his mother by the register. He smiled at the man, his younger daughter - 18, 19 years old maybe - gave a flashing smile in his direction, showing off her pearly whites. He id the same, catching the flirty motions she was gesturing in his direction. "Have a fantastic day sir, you too sweetheart," he said before returning to his den in the back of the store, shaking his head at the predictable youth.
Black apron tied around his waist Isaac put his gardening gloves back on and continued to cut down and make the order he was working on before his mother came in back barking orders at him like he was a dog. He didn't complain though, or mention a single word of disobedience because he loved his mother, even if she was so burned-out she could barely remember his name let alone any of her regular customers. He was surprised they still had any loyal customers with their tacky 60s hippy decor and relatively mediocre customer service. He continued to bicker with the thoughts of his parents shop in his mind when he looked at the clock, noting that it was almost 1 PM. His mother normally closes up the shop at 1 for an hour for lunch, and boy could Isaac use it. He was starved. To keep his mind of the painfully slow clock Isaac continued working on the flowers, his mind drifting off to Chess every now and then as he tried to make this arrangement as beautiful as he could. I guess you can say at the moment she was his muse.
Isaac never felt so strongly about another human being before until Chess came along. There was one other who came somewhat close, but Isaac doubted she would ever be around again. The one girl who rejected him, the one girl who actually told him she didn't want to see him anymore. It was devastating to him really, she being the first and only. Not to mention she was his best friend for a while, so it stung even more. He shook the thought from his head, hearing his mother bidding adue to her last customers before her footsteps led her to where he was working. 'Oh Isaac they're wonderful,' she remarked on his arrangement, giving him a kiss on the cheek before heading to the fridge and taking out they're lunch. 'We have salad fresh from the garden today babe,' she told him, Isaac nodding as he pulled up two chairs to the table against the window, the chairs being scattered about the rest of the back room to get finished orders and other miscellaneous things.
Once the two took a seat, Isaac looked to the front desk when he heard the little bell above the door go off, signaling a customer had just walked in. Isaac arched his eyebrow, wondering what rude-ass customer would come in when the sign on the door says they are away at lunch. His mother looked at Isaac curiously, 'I wonder who that could be - go see for me Isaac dear?' she asked as she stuffed a mouthful of salad in her mouth. Isaac nodded, getting up from his seat, heading out into the other room to see who exactly was entering the flower shop.

------------------------------ I’VE HAD IT, ITS SO DRAMATIC
The lights from the sun danced through the window and shined brightly as if it was trying to say get up. At the moment, it didn’t seem to affect the bright haired girl passed out in her bed. So it was after noon, but the last week or two consisted of no sleep at all. From waking up early for school, closing the shop every night and just working on art. Dazy got possible three hours of sleep a night. An amount people would have been cranky on but it did it’s job for her. With books, note pad, sketch pad, pencils, paint and color scattered among her bed, sleeping wasn’t something the petite girl had plan on doing at an early time. A drawing half complete, notes scribbled messily on top of blue lines, everything seem frozen in time. Stretching and groaning some, blue eyes opened slowly and looked around the room. Sitting up quickly, Dazy shook her head and fell back onto her back. So much for a late night and early start.
Finally getting herself out of bed, she picked up her mess and sat it neatly on the desk. In order and perfect. Not like it would last, but for the moment I was nice. Picking up her phone, she listened to the voice mail, dressing at the same time. Pulling on short black shorts and just a random tee it wasn’t like she planned on seeing anyone or going into work. All in all, she decided, for once, it was a day for Dazy. Brushing out the platinum blonde, light pink, and deep teal hair out, it got pulled into a messy loose pony tail she was out the door in a flash. Not with a set plan or anything. Mainly to just do what she wanted, get a few things she needed. Enjoy the fresh air.
Explore uptown wasn’t something never really done. Maybe because of the people, maybe because of the time. Honestly, Dazy wasn’t sure why. Only sure that she never had. Today was the perfect day. Walking through, she mainly mind her own business. Played with a stray dog that seem lost and confused. Everyone seem to kick him away or ignore him. Bending down out of the way of people, Dazy whistled the dog over. “You’ll find the special place buddy,” she smiled as she patted his head. The dog wiggled his tail happily as she patted him for awhile before he ran away after a little kid. Standing back up, she headed back on her journey to the unknown. It was mainly just aimless walking and looking around. Trying to find the inspiration for an artwork or something. The usual it seem. More less lost in her own little world in her head. Day dreaming it, about the impossible it seem. That’s why they had dreams for, to think about something that seem beyond reach but seem so close in reach. Sitting down for a bit, she listened to people talk, random chatter just to make a conversation last. Nothing great, nothing important. A small laugh came from her lips when hearing a younger girl talk about how cute she thought a guy was to her father. It was sweet in a way, to have a connection with a parent that you could tell them who you thought was hot. The girl described his features and for a second Dazy could have almost swore she knew who the girl was talking about. For a second Dazy when to a part of her mind that she hadn’t explored in awhile. Something she pushed in the past and kept there. Something she didn’t think would come back anytime soon. Shaking her as if to shake the thought away, Dazy started back on her journey of the unknown.
It was odd, to be out. Not have to worry about work, something she did non-stop. It was full of douche guys that picked at her for things that wasn’t funny or even suitable to talk about. It was nice to be called Hippie for once. With that thought, a smile grew even wider on her face. A certain shop caught her eye. ‘Flower Power’ a flower shop. For many reason it made her laugh to herself. First because of her stuff animal named Flower. Second for the fact most of the guys told her she should work at Flower Power since she was a flower child. Third, she swore she heard the name of it a few minutes ago and it lead to curiosity to take over. Maybe that was a down fall to her. Curiosity killed the cat, at times she was that cat.
Before walking inside, something actually clicked and she had a reason to go inside. For a small quick question and she would leave. Yes, she seen the sign said they were out to lunch but it might have been a good idea to lock the door. Taking her fairy like steps, Dazy walked inside look around some, pushing the random pieces of hair that decided they wanted to be free. Hearing someone walking towards the area she was, she kept her eyes around the room. “I know you’re close sort of, I’m sorry but I just have a ,” Dazy spoke as she looked up and over to the counter, “tiny quest––– question.” Finishing her sentence barely, she froze when her eyes completely focus and locked onto the guy, with the messy hair. Tucking her hair away, everything inside told her to say never mind but she was frozen. Almost star-struck. For the moment, her past was back in present. Something she regret but did. Something crazy, something stupid. “I’m sorry…” she mumbled somewhat. Looking down and turning to walk away.

SCAR TISSUE THAT I WISH YOU SAW, ( SARCASTIC MR. KNOW-IT-ALL )As Isaac took every step closer to the front of the shop, he had no idea what to expect when he got out front. He was curious to see what kind of person was in the shop because it had to be quiet the character to come into the shop when the sign says at lunch. It could prove to be an interesting encounter, one he had not had in a long time. Part of him thought it might be Chess for a split second, knowing she would come right in if she knew he was here. That of course would have been fine, but then he has to deal with her meeting his mother for the first time. Not to mention his father is bound to pop up eventually. The thought made him roll his eyes, knowing that his parents definitely didn't make the best first impression. But as he exited the door behind the counter Isaac stopped dead in his tracks when he not only heard a familiar voice but saw familiar blond/pink/teal colored hair and beautiful face. Isaac was in complete shock for a moment, staring at her in disbelief. He looked like hell - go figure she stops in on one of his busiest days here. He definitely wasn't expecting to see Dazy Danzing standing in front of him. Isaac was slightly relieved to see that she was just as shocked that he was the one behind the counter. It made him feel a little less like a creep, which was good for his ego. "Dazy?" He finally spoke, his voice laced with a hint of confusion. "What the hell are you doing here?" was the first thing that came to his mind, not one to care whether or not he was rude. That was the first thing that he wanted to know considering he hasn't seen her in such a long time. He whipped his hands on his apron even though they were clean, Isaac getting frigidity and uncomfortable with the situation he just walked into. Not that it was really a situation, rather just an unexpected encounter. Isaac was never good with facing ghosts from the past because he doesn't really doesn't have any. He was never ashamed of anything he has done nor has he gotten close enough to anyone for them to actually do some kind of damage to his already twisted mentality. Unfortunately, Dazy was the one person he considered some form of baggage on his end. So naturally, out of everyone who could have stepped into his shop it had to be her. "Wait, you don't have to go - " Isaac somewhat pleaded, walking around the edge of the counter and heading in her direction as she turned to look away. "Though I know you love to run away from things that are getting intense," he half mocked, referring to the fact that once things started to get more ... interesting between the two - at lest on Isaac's end - she called it quits. The only girl to ever call it quits on him. Rejection. But that didn't stop him from throwing himself in front of her path to keep her from leaving. There was almost a kind of need to gain her approval after what happened between them. After all she was the one and only girl that ever rejected him. Isaac knew that eventually he would have screwed it up anyways because that is just how he is with these kinds of things - a fail - but at lest he would have been able to say he tried. But it didn't even get to that point, which is what bothered him the most. He placed his hands on her shoulders to stop her from walking and gave a grin. "But really. You're the one who walked in here, you have to suffer the consequences of your actions," he told her, lifting her face up with his finger as she looked to the floor. He let his arms fall back to his side, a small moment of silence passing over the two. He scratched the back of his head, picking his brain at how to handle this situation. There were several routes they could take, but Isaac was going to bring up what happened between them. He never got the chance to really talk to her about it and get the answers he wanted. Maybe now he finally could and get rid of this unnecessary baggage. If she had never shown up he would have been able to handle it himself, but she jus popping up like this was was enough to make him immediately seek her approval. "You're lucky you're .. you. Otherwise I would kicked your sorry ass out of here while I ate my lunch," he tease lightly, half kidding half serious. He gestured for the two to head behind the counter where there were two stools for them to take a seat. He cleared his throat, hoping his mom wouldn't hear them talking and such. That was the last thing he needed, even though she as met them several times before. His mom is just so annoying sometimes. When he got behind the counter he shut the door that led into the back and pulled up the stools. He took a seat on the one to the far right, resting his elbow on the counter and his chin on his hand, his back slightly hunched. He was so lazy he couldn't even muster the will to sit up straight. "So remember my parents shop that I told you about?" he asked, his bright brown eyes shifting over to her, their eyes connecting for a moment. "Well this is it," he shrugged carelessly. ____________________ `status; Done! eee! so excited. c; and your post was fine <3 oh! and the shop looks something like .. this, Only bigger, a taller counter (that comes about as high as your stomach) and a door behind the counter. c; ` lyrics; scar tissue - red hot chili peppers ` ps ; let me know if you want me to change anything c;

------------------------------ AN ILLUSION
For a moment, Dazy denied that it was really Isaac. No matter what her mind told her she refuse to believe it seem. Tongue tied wasn’t something she got often well at the moment, it was something she was. Couldn’t really think either. It was almost like facing up with a criminal and being in total shock. It was going to a rough day. The one day she was going to have a good day, no worried at all. Just her wonderful luck she runs in to the one person she was hoping to avoid the rest of her life. Even though it seem rather extreme, she was hoping so much it would happen.
Dazy listened to him and just nodded when he said her name. Just keep walking she told her self. Avoid it. Just keep going and it’ll be alright. Possibly it was just a dream, you never knew exactly know sometimes. For the most part she blocked out his words until he said something seem to tick her off. “I did not run, I walked away very casually thank you.” Her words hissed at him. It was almost like throwing a match in gasoline. It was a touchy subject it seem. No it was never her goal to walk away from him. It wasn’t her idea. Nothing was planned. For her, it was odd. To more less walk away. Her running away scene turned into a path of corruption in her life. Random drinking and random fuck it moments she went no where good at all. Honestly, she was better up until now. Up until she saw his face. That was all gone. With the wind.
Fiddling with her fingers, her eyes stayed mainly on the floor as she listened to his words. Rolling her eyes to the statement about the consequences, she looked at him before looking away. Walking in and seeing him was a big enough one. “I would give you a run for your money, plus I think I could beat you.”
Laughing lightly her eyes went back onto him and stayed softly on him. Following slowly behind him, she inhaled softly, looking around. Sitting down, she nodded slightly looking back over at him. Smiling when her eyes caught his before looking back around at the flowers. “You did, but you never brought me around to see it. Lucky me for stumbling upon it.” Saying the last part with a hint of sarcasm. Shaking her head to get a thought away she sighed some. “It’s very pretty though. Kind of makes me miss my parents.”
Running her fingers through her multi-colored hair, bring her eyes back over to him. “So Mr. Clarke, how have you been?” Never once had she been uncomfortable around him. Honestly, he seem like the only person she could ever confine into. The only person she could really be open with. So therefore she just felt fanatics for like he said, running away.

THE SITUATION BAFFLES ME, I GUESS IT'S TRUE YOU TOO ARE ( ONE OF THE WALKING DEAD )Memories of the last night Isaac saw Dazy danced along his thoughts, he trying not to dwell on the fight they had last time the two conversed. It didn't end well, and lets face it Dazy knew how to get under Isaac's skin, even if it was involuntary. That little fact just made it even the more scary. As far as he was concerned she was like a toxic smoke, sinking deep within his pores and bringing back any hint of emotion he had for her. She just standing there was enough to drive him nuts, send his stomach into knots and leave him almost tongue tied. That never happened to Isaac Clarke. Ever. He hated the fact it was happening now, and he hated the fact that she still had that ability over him. He thought he was over this, just as much as he thought he was above this. He wasn't like everyone else with the petty emotions and longing for someone who didn't want them. For once, Isaac was starting to understand the need of approval that others strive for everyday. He couldn't help but snort at her hissed words, paying them no attention. "Yeah right sure," he responded, not agreeing at all with the statement. Sure she physically walked away calmly, but Isaac remembered the look in her eyes when she left his apartment that night. She was itching to get out of there, him probably yelling at her didn't help. He got pretty hostile that night, if he remembered correctly. His goal today was not to get hostile and it was not to get angry and start yelling at her again. He just wanted answers, and maybe to get back the friend he knew he once had. He grinned at her next comment, giving one of his own in return. "Please, If I remember correctly I was able to throw you around like a rag doll," he said, referring to the lustful actions they use to take part in. The awkward tense air that was filling his parents shop was slowly eased when she came and took a seat beside him, smiling when she liked the shop. He looked around at the many flowers and decorations that his parents took little to no time to do, thinking back to all the memories he has here. "It's a good place. Though when it's busy my mother is a mega-bitch I swear," he said, laughing lightly at the thought. It was hard for anyone to think of Isaac's parents as anything more then burned out hippies, no one actually knowing them aside from Dazy. But they can be pretty nasty sometimes, specifically if they are busy in the shop. "How are your parents, by the way," Isaac started, knowing that it was a touchy subject for her. "Have you heard or seen from them at all?" he asked, trying to be polite. He doubted she had heard from them at all, it was just they kind of people they were. Isaac considered himself lucky at times when it came to the topic of his parents. He looks at Dazy who practically has none, and he looks at his, he unable to complain. His eyes drifted back to her when she asked how he has been. He sighed, sitting up straight again and running a hand through his hair. "I've been pretty good actually," he offered, a poor excuse for an explanation on how his life has been since he has last seen her. He didn't want to get into much detail, he still wishing he was with Chess getting his tattoo right now instead of here. Thinking back to their conversation yesterday Isaac arched his eyebrow. "I hear you work with Chess, in a tattoo shop not far from here?" he asked, bringing up the topic. It sounded like the two knew each other on not-so-pleasurable terms, from what he gathered from Chess. He'd like to hear what she had to say, considering they could both possibly be around when Chess gives him his tattoo. that could be interesting. "Sounds like you're doing well. Got a steady job and such," he offered for conversation, hoping to hear more about her life the past few months. ____________________ `status; Done finally! I'm so excited for our plot-ness c: baha. ------------------------------ AN ILLUSION
Rolling her eyes some at the rag doll comment she just shrugged it off. Looking back at him she bit down on her lip when her parents was mentioned. “I guess they are good,” shrugging once more Dazy looked around. “Haven’t seen or talked to them since they tossed me off. They might be dead, no one will know I guess.” As much as she loved her parents when she was younger it seem, there was a part of her that wish they weren’t hers. The fact they acted like she was no one to them. Therefore she cut all ties with them. There was a part of her that refused to have them at her wedding if she ever got married or go to their funeral if they died. That’s how bad she resented them.
“Chess?” Dazy stated wherry as she looked back over at him. The blue eyes of hers holding a tad of, lets try not being harsh, dislike in them. “She’s…mmmm…alright.” If you can’t say anything nice than don’t say anything. Therefore, Dazy lied and said something sort of nice. There was things she didn’t find fond of the girl but just for the fact that Isaac was bring her up, there was something that connected the two. Therefore she would bite her tongue and be nice. Though she knew things, thanks to one of the only guys that she worked with, that acutally liked her. “For now, I guess. I’ll be honest, I can’t stand that place.” Laughing some at her own comment, she crossed her legs. “Sooner or later my hippie gypsy soul and ways will take me somewhere else. Rather its good or bad, I’m not sure. But I’m betting on the bad.” Shrugging off her words like there was nothing, Dazy let her eyes glance around once more. A course she knew it would be something bad, if not horrible. She would be the one putting her self down that road.

YOU CAME, YOU SAW, YOU CONQUERED EVERYONE. NOW I'M LEFT HERE GUESSING ( OH WHAT WENT WRONG? )Isaac didn't mention anything about Dazy's parents. He was right, for starters, about how she has not heard or talked to them since they dumped her like a bad habit. Some people just shouldn't have children. Hearing footsteps coming from the back of the store Isaac groaned. "Oh no," he said, eyes shifting past Dazy to the door that he emerged from only a few minutes ago. He should have realized that the longer he stayed away from his mother the more curious she was going to get about the stranger that entered the shop on their lunch break. She was just so nosy. A few moments later a woman came out from the door, a long orange skirt and a brown tank top residing on her, long blond hair tumbled down well past her shoulders and to her mid back. She smiled, eyes spotting Dazy and recognizing her immediately. 'Dazy darling!' she said, remembering her from the last time Isaac brought her around to their house. Isaac sighed, wishing this encounter wasn't to happen but should have known better. She immediately gave Dazy a hug, taking in her features and smiling all the time. 'Why didn't you tell me Dazy was here Isaac?' she demanded from her son, Isaac just shrugging it off casually, not really wanting to tell his mom that this was a rather awkward encounter. 'You should come around more often dear,' she told Dazy, Isaac wanting nothing more then to bash his head into a wall at this point. He was 22 years old and his parents still managed to embarrass him and make his life a living hell at times. Isaac drowned out the dull conversation that his mom was trying to make with Dazy, asking her how she was and what she had been doing with herself since she had seen her last. But Isaac was drawn into the conversation once his mother brought up a rather interesting topic of discussion. 'So Jack and I started to grow weed - it's actually doing really well, we have it here in the back of the shop! You should - "MOM. GO AWAY." Isaac interrupted, hissing his words through and annoyed expression. Taken back, Isaac's mom shot him a look. 'Well fine. But if you ever need any - you know where to come. You are always welcome in my home and shop Dazy' she told her, placing a kiss on her cheek and returning to the back of the store. Shaking his head, Isaac looked down to the floor for a moment before speaking again. "Sorry about that. She loves getting involved in shit as you know," he said, recalling the few times Dazy had met his parents. The conversation was brought back around to the topic of Chess and the tattoo shop, Isaac catching the 'i hate that dumb bitch' vibe from Dazy. Isaac knew Dazy was just trying to be polite, and to be honest he really didn't want to hear her talk ill of Chess. But he hated when people didn't speak their minds or opinions even more. That and he knew Dazy far too well, he knew that 'she's alright' comment was just a cover up. "It's ok to say you hope she gets caught in a horrible fire but somehow lives," he told her, a small grin creeping its way on his face. What a horrible way to live, all burned and such. Isaac merely nodded at her next comment. "We all know how much you love to just up and leave. Probably not the best trait to have," he told her, shrugging it off. "But at lest you know that about yourself," he added at the end, somewhat glad she was in tune with herself in some aspect. Isaac cleared his throat before speaking again. "Well the reason I ask is that I'm going to get a tattoo done by Chess tomorrow - you going to be there?" he asked, not so much inviting her as he was just curious if she was going to be working. But it was very easy for it to be taken as an invite. Chess said they did work opposite shifts, but you never know. ____________________ `status; D'awe! ------------------------------ AN ILLUSION
Hearing footsteps, Dazy attention wasn’t fully in tune when she was greeted with a hug. Hugging back the woman she smiled. Being honest, she made Dazy feel special. At least someone missed her and sort of cared. Isaac might not have been completely proud of his parents or anything. They weren’t normal, they were really out there. But then again, they were there. Dazy seem to have more in common than Isaac did. Listening to her talk, she chatted somewhat, just answered the questions start and sweet. Just typical sort of. Dazy just laughed and nodded about the weed. It was always good to know where to get some. Laughing softly at Isaac’s reaction, she told his mom bye and turned her attention back onto what seem an embarrassed person.
“Don’t be sorry about it. I’ll take her as a mom if you want to trade any time soon,” Dazy stated calmly and full-heartily. Twirling her hair on her finger, she looked around the shop once more. Lost in her thoughts about things that made no sense to anyone but herself. Than again, sometimes it didn’t made sense to her. “I never said that so do not say that or think it so shut it.” Rolling her eyes at his comment on Chess. There was no hard-feelings against the girl. Just the sheer fact that she didn’t like her. Yes, she had her reasons and such and no she wasn’t not sharing them. Especially with Isaac. It took a lot for Dazy to talk bad on someone. She bit her tongue and kept it to herself, until she reached a breaking point. Usually that point never came since she did something stupid and forgot about it.
Shifting some, her blue eyes fell to the floor at his comment of her up and leaving. “I didn’t just up and leave when it came to us though,” Dazy mumbled before running her fingers through her hair. Shaking her head at her own randomness in her hair she just took in a deep breath exhaling as she talked herself into a better place it seem. “As I recalled, I tried talking but someone was to stubborn to listen so it was pointless and I left. I tried but someone…” looking back over at him, “just wouldn't hear it.” All of his comment ticked her off. What she was did was wrong, but she never got to explain herself. It was bullshit, in her mind, to be made into the bad person when she tried the whole talking thing. Knowing her emotions shined so brightly in the sea of blue eyes, quickly she looked away. Tapping her chin, she took in detail of the flowers and such her eyes never wanting to go back on him.
Shrugging at the question, Dazy looked towards the first door. “Probably not, but there is a fifty-fifty chance on it.” Shrugging once again, finally she looked back at him softly. “Have fun getting your tattoo though.” Giving him a pearly smile, she rolled her eyes some before mumbling. “But I won’t let her tattoo me.”

I AM ONE BIG WALKING CHEMICAL REACION, BUZZING HIVE OF ( CELL SYNAPSES AND NACENT SELF PERCEPTION )Isaac wasn't sure how he felt about his parents loving Dazy so much. If his dad was here that would have been it. He would have never stopped talking and INSISTED that they all have dinner together, then his mom would start talking about cooking some crazy organic food that no normal people would like and it would have just gotten progressively worse. Luckily Dazy was use to this kind of thing, and even though Isaac is sometimes really annoyed with his parents he loves them, probably the only two people he will ever love. He has a great relationship with his mom, and even though with his father it was a little on the mediocre side he had a great family life, which is why he grinned slightly at Dazy's comment. "I wouldn't trade them for the world. But I'll share," he said as if he was doing her a favor. He smiled in her direction, some-what apathetic about the way her parents were.
Wow. There's a feeling Isaac din't know he had.
Putting his hands up as if at gun point, Isaac smiled. "Relax killer, geez," he said, laughing a bit at her comment. "I forgot how nice you are," he mocked, knowing that it took a lot for Dazy to talk ill of anyone. Hence why that night he started unjustly fighting with her she kinda just walked out instead of fighting with him. Fighting leads to more serious arguments which leads to name calling and not-nice things being wished upon one another and that wasn't her style. He sighed, hoping that he could have gotten more detail then that from Dazy on how she felt. He wanted to get a more accurate judgement on the relationship so he'd know if id't be a disaster to bring the two around each other. Chess didn't seem to have much of an issue other then the fact she thinks Dazy has it out for her. Which leds this to come back to Dazy, the only one with the answer.
Not wanting to mess with the two women in his life Isaac was drawn out of his thought by one of her comments. She mentioned that night, Isaac still recalling the details in his head. He replayed that evening over and over again in his mind like a bad movie, he stepping over the line and she not standing up for herself like she should have. He lost his temper, and he was sorry for it. "Yeah, about that .." he said, giving an awkward look. "Sorry for calling you a whore. And all the other nasty stuff I said - I didn't really mean it," he said, trying to think of some way to justify it. There really was no way to really apologize for what he said, but he truly regretted it, and he never regretted anything. Ever. Nor did he ever apologize for anything he has done. The fact that he was genuinely sorry should have been proof enough that his confused feelings for Dazy weren't completely gone, whatever they were.
"Shit, Daze. You were my best friend - I never experienced anything like you before cut me some kind of break, will you?" he said in his defense, knowing it was a poor one but hoped she bought it anyways. It was the best he could come up with, and it was all entirely true. "One minute we're staying up all night drawing stupid pictures of each other and the next you're telling me you didn't want to see my anymore .." his voice trailed off as he tried to keep his voice down, successfully. He didn't need his mother hearing this. "Best friend, Dazy. And you just - rejected me like I was nothing," he said, knowing that even though he was a dick about everything she wasn't completely innocent either.
"And Chess is going to do my tattoo perfectly" he hissed in return, not really caring too much about the tattoo right now. He knew that he had opened a can of worms with his last comments, and he was interested to see what she had to say.

------------------------------ AN ILLUSION
Smiling at the comment on him sharing, she nodded some. As his words continued she bite down on her lip, just listening. taking it in more less and trying to settle her words down in her head. Trying to make sense of everyone once more. Replaying memories in her head that she wanted to burn down and never see again. For a while she thought she burnt them but apparently they were like a phoenix and just came back.
"You know, it didn't hurt so much that i was so say a whore and a bitch and all that. I usually let that roll off my back. But you said." Dazy shook her head some as she looked over at him. Listening once more she just nodded. "I'm sorry Issac, really really sorry." Keeping her voice down some she shrugged. "I was wrong I am admitting it. " Laughing at the main fact that she was admitting her wrongs to him. Honesty, she never thought she would do that to him.
Looking down, she fiddled with her fingers. "I didn't mean I didn't want to see you, see you any more." Inhaling some, Dazy shifted some in her seat keeping her eyes low from him. Just so she could think clearly and say what she had to say as if he wasn't there with her. It made it easier it seem. "I was scared. I didn't want to see you in that relationship way. I didn't want to sleep with you any more. We went from best friends to friends with benefits and everything was just moving super fast. It just happened. We never honestly talked about it. It just went. I didn't want to get hurt. I didn't want you to get hurt. I just wanted my best friend." Laughing some, she rubbed over her eyes. Shifting her blue eyes back to him. "Don't every think you are nothing. You are something. An amazing person. My best friend, the only person that understands the craziness in my head."
Rolling her eyes at his hissing at her, she just shrugged. "Sure Chess will. She's gonna make it looking like a master piece." Hissing back at him with so much sarcasm in her voice.

( There is no such thing as the end of the world [/b][/size] )b u t • j u s t • i n • c a s e • y o u • b e t t e r • b a t t o n • d o w n • a n d • b u t t o n • u p[/i] ______________________ When did such a wonderful friendship go so horridly wrong? Isaac never thought of it in that concept, how a friendship - a best friendship at that - turned into quicksand. He was almost ashamed of himself for acting the way he did, but he was hurt by her actions. Sex was always just sex for him, but not when trust was involved and he trusted Dazy more then anyone else at the time. No one knew him like she did, and even though they butted heads a lot it was all in playful fun. Sleeping together was the worst idea they could have had, even though at the time it was fun and exciting. Something new, a change in pace from the norm. Isaac didn't give a rats ass about anyone or anything aside from his art until she walked into his life and tossed his entire logic upside down. She was his first real friend, how could he have just thrown something like that away? He didn't want to, he didn't mean to - it's funny how things work out like that.
Listening to he speak Isaac was somewhat glad to hear her apologize. It made him feel not so irrational about what had happened, like his actions were somewhat justified. He didn't care what others thought of the situation - though no one else knew what happened, even Chess - but hearing her say I'm sorry for everything actually meant a lot to him. A hearty grin spread across his face as he looked to her, she starting to justify what had happened. He had known what she meant, but he wasn't sure if he could have handled seeing her as just friends. He needed time apart, but a week would have been fine. But after their argument and Isaac's lack of heart made him not care to call her after it was all said and done. The thought crossed his mind every now and then, but he had worked so hard to convince himself that she was nothing to him, just like everyone else. He eventually succeeded, lying to himself everyday. It would have remained that way too, had she not walked into the flower shop today. Still, he liked having their train wreck of a relationship confronting him. It brought back all those feelings, and made him actually feel alive.
Isaac chuckled a little, catching Dazy's little laugh after she had admitted to something that was so serious. It was cute, he missed it. But inevitably she was right. One of them would have gotten hurt in the end, most likely both of them. Isaac knew he would have screwed up, she would have left and he would have broken his own heart. But at lest they would have been able to say they tried - better to have loved and lost then to have never loved at all, right? Deep down Isaac was a hopeless romantic, wanting nothing more then to find true love just once. He really did think he was going to find it in Dazy, but he supposed they never giving it a real chance was for the better. He would eventually have lost his best friend forever, at lest now they can mend the pieces of a shattered trust. Her next words caught Isaac by surprise, the bright brown eyes that were looking around the shop shot directly back to her. Even when she was done speaking and shot out a little snotty comment about Chess he completely ignored it, not really giving a crap. Those words just rung in his head as he tried to wrap his mind around the idea. Wasn't that what he was waiting for?
It gave a small boost to his self esteem, but he still didn't feel like he got what he needed from Dazy. After sitting in silence for all this time Isaac finally spoke, having processed everything that had happened. "I get it, Daze," he said, his hard reaching up and rubbing the back of his neck. "You're right. Things just got so fucked up - even though they say friends make the best lovers," he said with a devilish grin, having to put in his little perverted comments. He let his hand drop back to his lap as he sat slouched at the counter in front of her. They weren't far apart, their knees almost touching. Isaac didn't mind the close quarters, he preferred it for this kind of conversation. "I have to admit, things haven't really been the same without you around. I miss the shit out of you."
