------------------------------ SO HERE I WRITE MY LULLABY
For days as past as Elyzza’s depression grew. It was one of those weeks when the world was on her shoulders and there was nothing she could do to get it off. Nothing would give her a relief. As if the depression wasn’t enough, she awoke every night when night terrors to drive anyone into a panicking state. The terrors were her real terrors, made it so much worst on herself. The way they haunted her, ate at her soul. A course, there was no way they would come true but they still had a strong affect on her. For the past week, she threw herself into whatever she could to make sure she had a clear head. Stayed up night after nights just so she couldn’t see the images anymore. After awhile, she refused to let them take her over. Therefore she faced her dreams and fought back at them. Eventually they faded away, sleep came but the weight on her shoulders never left. Not once. Not for a second.
Wearing merely a black and white tank that hugged her tiny figure and showed the tattoos down her left arm, black shorts and flip flops. Now, that was kind of a shocker to most. This was a girl that most was used to seeing in jeans or something along those lines. It wasn’t Elyzza to have the beachy look like everyone thought she should have. It wasn’t her ‘style’ so to speak. But all in all, no matter what she had on she was still that girl no one knew entirely. The girl that kept her secrets to herself. Walking she was in no hurry to get anywhere at all. The late morning sun shined against her light skin as her fingers played on the strap across her body to her bag. A small smile of sorts came present on her lips as the sounds of crashing waves could be heard.
Walking through the sand, it wasn’t long before she slide her flip flops off and held them in hand as she found a spot away from the crowd of people. Dropping her bag to the ground, she sat next to it and took a deep breath. The ocean air filling her lungs before she exhaled softly. The crashing waves and whirling wind made a beat of their own that brought a smile to the girl’s soft pink lips. With eyes glued to the waves, she watched carefully at the movements before it came down crashing against the sand. Crossing her legs Indian style, she couldn’t help but to feel the bittersweetness around her. Shaking her head, she rambled through her bag pulling out her sketch pad and pencil. Pushing the wave of two-toned hair behind her ears, she got comfortable setting the pad on her lap. Drawing wasn’t just a hobby, it was her religion so to speak. As for God or Gods or anything like that, she wasn’t much of a believer or even a thinker of it. From past events, she always questioned why. Why did “god” let her go through what she went through? Most told her it was to make her a better person, in her mind, it was messed up. To make her life a living hell just to so say make her a better person. No one knows what type of person you are going to be when you are just five years old. A person that loves you deeply like the so say God everyone talked about wouldn’t let someone more less abusive and torture an innocent little girl. That was her thoughts. Now if she made to heaven, so be it. If she made it to hell, so be it.
The sketch she drew wasn’t really anything at once. It was more everything on her mind. The demons and hurt. The darkness and light. The evil and good. Anything she wrong, she drew it down. If it was on paper, it wasn’t in her. Every line had a different story and every shade had a secret. The waves crashed roughly on the shore and retreated back to the ocean. It seem to be that every time a wave went back, a thought on her mind went with it. Mixing up with everything else and disappearing for good. Eyes stayed focus on the whiteish paper being colored with gray lines from the pencil. It wasn’t long before the page held most of her life story on it. Honestly, if anyone would look they would swear she was drawing death. The erryness of creatures on the paper, they looked like they wanted to jump out and grab you. Take your soul. Those was the demons that tried to control her life, that turned to make her weak and broken. They never thought that she could fight back. That she was a fighter no matter what. Hiding the demons, she placed everything next to her. Stretching her legs out, she brushed some of the sands off of them. The sun beaming down brightly against her. It had been awhile since she was actually relaxed and could wear a smile on her face. Today was a knew beginning. A new day. A fresh start. Pushing her hair off her shoulders, she pulled her legs up some and watched the people in the water. The surfers, the swimmers, the small children playing at the edge. Now she was back to reality. Back to her reality.

I've blown so many chances that I ain't gonna blow this chance with you

Everthing seemed to fall right into place by now. The sun was shining and was causing that the atmosphere down by the sea was better than ever. People smiled and ran playfully around. Kids were building sandcastles and laughed out or cried when the waves flushed it away. But even then they did not seem to mind. They just took their shovel and bucket and built a new one. - Their spirits as carefree as ever. They seemed to be glad that they could built a new sandcastle – one that was greater and bigger than the one before. But kids were not the only ones playing. A bunch of teenagers were running around with laughter while chasing each other down and dragging each other into the water. The girls would squeel as soon as the water touched their toes and they would grab on tighter to the boy holding them in their arms while smiling as charming as possible. The girls were obviously just trying to get closer to the boys.. The water wasn't really all that cold. Lastly, there were also people that were slightly older or much older than the teenagers. They were either sitting in the sand drinking a beer og soda with their friends or lying in the sand trying to get a tan. With the low buzz of peoples voices, the warm wind gently caressing the skin and the waves characteristic calming sound everything seemed to be in peace and in harmony. There were two persons on the beach that stuck out though. One would be the girl sitting with her sketchbook with two-colored hair. She was very special. And so were the other young girl dancing down the beach in her zigzagged flops, jeans, tunic and gray hat.. She wasn't all dull in her clothing though. She had worn big colored feather-earrings and a colorful bracelet too to lift in all. And her usual appearance lifted the 'boring' all out of it. The girl had bright red curly hair in different lengths, tattoos over her shoulder blades and a hell of a lot of piercings in her face. Yes, she was one of those girls who attracted the attention completely. But all in all, she didn't really care that much about it. Every time someone turned to look after her, she would raise a hand and wave to that someone. They would get all red in the face and quickly turn around again. Oh, how she loved the way human beings reacted to stuff like that.
The day had been good for that girl - Emi's her name. She had woken up quite early and decided on an intense workout before doing anything else. So she went to the gym at 5 AM. Luckily they had all the stuff she needed to exercise on her aerial acrobatics at first and thereafter, she could go to the machines. There she built up the muscles in her entire body. Not only did she need to be agile – she had to be strong too to achieve her goals. She had been training on that through her entire upbringing but there was still a long way back to cirque du soleil. Emi wasn't like body-builder-ish strong. But she had toned muscles and if you saw her in a bikini you'd see that there wasn't one kilogram of fat on her body. She was slim but muscular. She didn't show much of her body today though. Okay, on with it! After working out for three hours, she took a long cold shower and got her looks fixed. That had taken about an hour and by the time she had been finished, she went to a cafe and bought herself a proper and big breakfast. After that, she had enjoyed her life and done whatever she wanted to. That consisted of taking a long nap and talking to a few nice people back in time and taking a hike through the woods again. Most of the time, Emi was very active and energetic. She didn't like spending entire days on the couch doing nothing. She wanted to go somewhere and experience something! But it did not happen as much now as when she was traveling around the states. She kind of missed that often. It had been a good time of her life, and getting used to being the same place all the time was hard after a childhood like hers.
Of course Emi noticed the other special girl by the beach as soon as she was close enough. And it didn't take long for her to go the distance to that girl. She dropped down in the sand beside her and tilted her head to one side, while quickly glancing over the paper. It did not seem as happy as you'd expect from a girl with pink hair really. But it was alright. Before staring for too long, Emi threw a friendly pearly white smile in the girls direction. ”Hello!”
she greeted cheerfully and drew some circles in the sand with one of her fingers. ”You draw really well” she complimented the girl and smiled yet again. ”What is your name?”[/blockquote]

------------------------------ SO HERE I WRITE MY LULLABY
Lost in my own world, I was pulled from my thoughts. Looking over at the girl, I smiled softly at her as I listened to her speak. “Thank you, I’m Elyzza.” Tucking my two toned hair behind my ears. Looking over her, a course she was odd in a sense. But not in a bad way. She seem out there, her own person. I liked that. “You are?” I questioned softly before looking away to the little ones running at the edge of the water. Playing and splashing around as if there was no care in the world. It made me smile and brought back horrible memories that were like scars on my mind. How I would love to be carefree like them, how I would love to be young again and actually have no worry in the world. Young and free. Something I honestly never had it seem. Shaking my head, I looked back over to the smiling girl on my side. “I really like your hair.” I said with a small laugh.

Emilie threw another sweet and cheerful smile to the girl, as she introduced herself to Emi. The redhead tilted her head slightly to the other side and watched her beautiful two-toned hair and the gorgeous face of the girl for a second. ”It's nice to meet you Elyzza. That is like a totally beautiful name by the way”
she stated with the highly cheerful and bubbly expression in the orange-ish brown almondshaped eyes. ”I'm Emi.. Well, really my name is Emilie, but I'm not called anything else but Emi, so please do so” she answered with a little giggle in her voice. She followed Lyzza's gaze to the little children and she smiled. Basically, Emi was still stuck in the childhood. But why would she not ? She had been raised as in every childhood fantasy – by clowns in a circus. That was one huge childhood you didn't really leave. Ever. She smiled, as Lyzza complimented the bright red curls. ”Thank you so much! I really like yours too. It's really cool” she said grinning widely over her entire face. ”How old are you?” she asked curiously. [/blockquote]

------------------------------ SO HERE I WRITE MY LULLABY
Nodding some as she spoke, I listened carefully to her and smiled. “Nice to meet you Emi.” The soft smile stayed on my lips. Pulling all my hair to one side, I attempted to keep it there so the wind from the ocean would leave it alone. Believe me, I knew it would work for a second then stop completely. “I’m twenty-two. But no one seem to believe me when I say my age.” Giggling some, I stretched my legs out in front of me against the sand. The warm sand sticking to my legs like glue. “It’s either because I’m to mature at times or I am like a little kid. They just don’t understand me I guess.” Shrugging some, I looked back over at her softly. “How old are you?”

Emi couldn't hold back a tiny giggle when she told her age and how everybody did not seem to believe that it was true. The readheaded girl knew it too well herself. But that was basically because she acted like a child most of the time. ”I believe you.” she stated firmly with a nod after listening to the explanation. She didn't have a hard time believing it after seeing those drawings. They were more of a depressed adults strokes of hand. But she didn't seem like that personalitywise in that moment.”I'm 19... Most people tend to guess that I am 16 or 17 though when they start talking to me”
she told her. It was no secret really, so why not just tell it? Emi stretched out her long legs and looked and the waves gently moving by the touch of wind. She had given up trying to get her hair right – but luckily, she didn't have to do all that much. It was a mess on purpose anyway. [/blockquote]
