Mika thought hard about her schedule for the next week or so. She was all for going to the Circus with Emi and hoped she would want to attend with her soon. She seemed serious about it, and Mika didn't think she would back out on her. "Well we can really go anytime in the next week. I'm not doing much," she said, thinking back to Caine for a moment. She should really go see him again within the next week but who knows how he will be feeling or if he'll even be home. She can't make a regular habit out of showing up at his doorstep, especially after how it went last time. Ok but .. still really strange. It was going to take some getting use to. But she normally could just text Caine and he'd tell her if he was around - normally - so that shouldn't really get in the way. "Trust me, I don't have anything better to do," she grinned, eyes focused on the clouds.

She continuously smiled through her next comments admiring her self confidence. She wished she had that much confidence in herself. She couldn't tell if Emi was just putting up a front for her insecurities or not, she didn't know her well enough yet, but that was generally what Mika did. "Basically made of amazing," she added at the end, her feet swaying left to right on the ground as she got restless. "I love learning new things," she admitted happily, not thinking of it in that way until Emi mentioned it. She was definitely going to start using it in the future, she was sure she would need to eventually anyways. Who knows where the road is going to take you, Mika could find herself living a similar life style to the one she lived a few months ago, which would make that little trick very handy. Then again she could be happily in a committed relationship with anyone in Outlier. Either way it was a nice trick to have up her sleeve.

Talking of super heros was one of Mika's favorite past times. Talking about anything nerdy really was something she loved to do - she never really thought about it much before now but it was the god honest truth. Super heros, video games, anything and anything related to science were just a few things she loved to have conversations about. It was safe for anyone to assume that this girl was in complete bliss at the moment. She was in her happy place, and she was happy Emi was there to share it with her. "Well, I think it's fair to say you should be Robin. You're much more experienced than I am," she told her, proudly accepting the role of little John. "Little John is still the man," she said, wanting to be sure that fact was known.

When Mika got to her feet she knew Emi must have been confused. Mika liked to think of herself as spontaneous at times, not to mention she didn't want the lazy after affect of weed to get the better of her. After a second of thinking Mika decided that there was no time like the present to go to the circus. What was stopping them? Mika had everything she would need and could even cover Emi if need be, she wouldn't mind. She was happy to see that she got to her feet when Mika requested her to which meant she wasn't completely against going somewhere else, otherwise she would have just laid there. Mika grabbed her bag that was still resting on the ground and slung it over her shoulder before actually responding to Emi. "We're going to the Circus!" she told her in an excited tone, hoping she wanted to go. "Unless you don't want to .. " she added shortly after, not wanting to force her into anything she didn't want to do.

The little red head arched an eyebrow when her newfound friend suggested th e next week as a possible day for their little trip to the circus. She thought it through. She really didn't have too many things to do – Only her daily training was scheduled for sure, and that was almost always in the morning around 6 or 7 o'clock, so it didn't get in the way of her normal schooldays. Of course she had some classes and so to go to too but she didn't have all that many the next week. Mainly because it was only the start of the school. The teachers did tend to be softer the first couple of weeks to get their students started before torturing them the rest of the year. Emi threw her smile and nodded ”You just name the date and time and I'll be ready. I'm not very busy either.. Well, I do have a physics report to write that is going to pull out teeth, but besides that..” she stated – first part very enthusiastically and cheerful and then more thoughtful as she remembered the report her teacher had told her to get a hold on. She hated those classes. They were boring and hard and she couldn't quite get it at all – The tone she decided to use pretty much stated that. It was going to take her forever to get that one done.. But she had not intention of letting it ruin their little deal about going to the circus. There was no way in hell she was going to miss that. ”Screw that one. My physics teacher ain't going to like me anyway” she then thought out loud and nodded. ”So whenever you're ready”

She laughed out a little and shrugged gently with her femininely slim shoulders when Mika said 'basically made of amazing'. Because in every single way that was not true. In every person on the planet, you'd find something fantastic and you'd find something horrible. There was no such thing as a perfect human, even though you would think so with some people. Like the beautiful queen-bee of the school with ten big football players behind her, the quarterback by her side and the usual two bimbo's that could only wish to be like her and the closest thing to that is to be her minion/best friends. You'd think that someone like her would have the perfect life. Popularity, money, the right connections and such. But everybody knew that she had quite the messed up mind. There was probably a ton of secrets to find and explore that would be horrible inner parts of her. No one really knew and everyone judged other people way to fast. The redhead sitting on the ground in the forest always tried to show a behavior she'd like to feel from others: Acceptance. Respect. Care. With those in mind when socializing, you'd never go wrong. ”I'd like to say 'of course' but that would be a lie and I don't fancy lying so much. Nobody's perfect” she stated with a smile continuing it's embrace on her full pink lips. ”And learning new things is great. Though, it do seem like most students forget about the joy of it. I don't see many interested souls in my classes” Emi told the Mika with a gentle thoughtful expression to her pretty face. ”Those youngsters today!” she then added with a teasing glimpse in her eyes and a dramatic sigh leaving her lips before laughter rose yet again.

In all honesty, Emi had never been a huge fan of superheroes. Like any other person on the planet she was fascinated with the invention of people and creatures with special powers to save the mankind from the evils of villains. It was a fun thought! But as Emi had grown up in a circus there wasn't really a tv and the income wasn't huge either, so comic books and computer games never got to her. She had a laptop like any other teenager when she grew older, but only because they used it for school. By that time the whole idea of living without all the materialistic things had been set on her mind and she didn't think she needed anything else. After all, the computer wasn't used much. Not during her upbringing and not now. She had other things she liked more – like bonfires and friends and her career and candle lights in a dark room and soft music spreading it's soft tunes around. She liked sitting on a big lawn listening to a bunch of young people singing and playing. All acoustic and with the most perfect sound possible. No, she didn't like it. She loved it. She liked picnics in the nature. She loved good food. She loved cuddling in the sofa with a friend to a movie. She loved socializing and she loved being outside; not electronics and not comics. Not anything that kept her inside alone. She hated being alone. It was about the worst thing that could happen for this girl. She smiled to Mika and nodded ”That is a deal. I love Little John. I'm pretty sure he gives fantastic hugs. Can you live up to that image of him, Little Mika?” she asked with an arched eyebrow and a teasingly glimpse to her eyes. Of course she was joking.

With a good feeling in her stomach, Emi picked up her things from the ground and nodded firmly to Mika. A huge smile was curling up the corners of her lips and her pearly white teeth showed themselves with that one smile. She loved the fact that they was going to go to the circus in all spontaneity. Emi did have money with her all the time, so she wouldn't have any trouble with the payment of the ticket. She was excited like a little kid before Christmas morning. In Denmark, they had the Christmas eve instead where everybody gave each other presents and danced around the Christmas tree. It wasn't particularly a tradition of Emi's taste because she had had so many better times with her troupe on random nights where they had given each other gifts in the form of performances and shows and they all had fun. And it didn't have to cost a lot like the Danish Christmases she had had with her grandparents during that one year of normality. The year that had helped her figure out exactly what she wanted to be and where she was going with her life. And it was not on the ordinary road like most other people. ”Yay! Let's go!” she stated enthusiastically and started half walking, half dancing, towards the road to the circus.

After some time of walking to sight of the circus tents became more and more visible to the two girls and already then, Emi felt butterflies in her stomach. She wasn't going to perform anything but places like this gave her exactly that feeling of 'home' she liked so much.
