I couldn’t help it; it was my native accent that made whatever I said that was quiet seem almost seductive. I got into the car and put my seatbelt on before putting my hands in my pockets, looking out the window. I wasn’t exactly sure what to think when it came to Gage. I wasn’t sure what to think at all.
