Teenage dreams in a teenage circusRunning around like a clown on purpose - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Emi smiled in his direction – one of those that flashed her pretty, white teeth and curled her lips up in the most adorable way possible. And to accompany the smile, you could also see that cheerful glimpse that shone through her special orange-ish eyes framed by long black eyelashes. The only thing other people would take into consideration, when calling a girl like that ugly, was her piercings, tattoos and the bright red hair. If she changed that, people would probably always call her pretty. But she wasn't about to change anything. After all, this was her signature look and if she did not look like that, she would not be Emi anymore. ”Isn't it?” she asked teasingly and winked at him ”Then I bet you're totally happy now and I can tease you some more?” she suggested playfully and bashed her long eyelashes at him as adorable as she could achieve. Emi had had her share of best friends through the time – one!. Back in the circus she had had this girl with freckles and curly brown hair and they hung out all the time. But as for any little child and it's best friend they had split up one day when they grew apart. And strangely, Emi hadn't minded. This girl actually had a good attitude as to friends and she understood that you shouldn't hold on to friends you don't like spending time with anymore. And the two girls had not been a very good match the last year of their friendship. They had fought over even the littlest things because basically they were just subconsciously looking for reasons to get away from each other. So they both moved on and Emi enjoyed her new spare time and the opportunity of talking to other kids in the circus while the other girl had found a new best friend and did not show her face to anyone else really. How much fun is there in that? Emi really believed that when you had a best friend you were not supposed to lock up alone together all the time. It was of course nice to have this one person to talk to about everything, but if you lost that person and you didn't have anyone else – that would hurt. Since then she hadn't really talked of someone as her best friend again because she had seen how silly it was. But if she had to choose one here and now, she would surely pick out Jordan as having a good chance to that position in her life. But there were also other people with a very good shot at it too. So simple: She did not pick favorites. She laughed out when he stated to be attending all of his classes. Even though she did not go to the same school, she was pretty sure she knew him better than that. ”Yeah, yeah.. I would have said that too, if I was you... But I don't know. I don't think I believe you” she said and a little 'hmmmmm' sound followed as she rubbed her cheek with two fingers in a thoughtful posture. ”Nopé. I don't. Better luck next time, honey” she stated with a nod. She shrugged when he did not agree on the whole ordinary part as she had expected. A smile played on her soft, full lips. ”Nah.. But the world would be such a boring place if everyone was ordinary” she stated – a sentence she almost could call her motto in life. ”High five!” she playfully said and raised a hand for him, when they both agreed on being much cooler than all the other kids.
She shook the memories from high school away fast because she didn't want to worry him all too much. She had noticed that he was pretty sensitive to even her littlest signs of being uncomfortable and he always did that face. To her it was the past and she just had to forget it, so getting him all worried was bad of her. So she made sure to smile at him and shrug. ”People are in general not very nice. But hey, aren't we all a bit scared of the unknown?.. They probably think, I'm an alien” she stated playfully to downplay it to nothing. It was the best way to have them both happy instead of sitting with sad faces – even though Jordan was the guy she'd want to share her inner thoughts and memories with. The corners of her mouth curled up in a smile and she winked in his direction when he told her that he and his OCD was doing fine. ”Awesome! I know she can be all evil at times, but just keep holding your head up, love” she said speaking as if his OCD was a person like he just did. And in her mind: An annoying OCD was most definitely of the female sex. She giggled at his request and shrugged with her shoulders. ”You know I can't promise anything.. I'm the kind of girl who likes to get what she wants – by all means” she told him while wiggling her eyebrows at him playfully. She squealed when he decided to lean over the table and totally mess up her curly red hair with both hands, and she quickly got her hands up too and tried to get his away before ruining it too much. She laughed out when he finally decided to move away and she had hair, well... everywhere! She ran her fingers through the curls while frowning in his direction. The hair did eventually fall back into it's place – in a organized mess. ”I should slap you so hard because of that” she stated with an arched eyebrow and a playful warning hiding in her eyes. She kept her eyebrow arched at his next statement. She had figured that she had been very discrete the times she had been checking her out, but obviously not. Oh well, it wasn't really that much of a shame. ”Pfffsh! Of course I have.. You're one big piece of eye-candy” she stated with a firm nod and smiled widely. ”How should I, a little poor girl, be able to keep my gaze away?” she tilted her head to the side questionably. She smiled slyly at him when he indicated that he was a bit like a girl, and it was so easy to see that she was thinking something very evil to say.. But then she settled on: ”Or else you're just a girl and I'm a very patient person! Never thought of that, huh ?” then she wrinkled her nose slightly. ”now I feel a bit bad about having checked a girl out so many times.. Ew.. You could have warned me Jordan-which-also-is-a-girl's-name” she teased him – there was really nothing evil behind it of course.
Emi felt a bit proud of herself when he seemed to accept her attempt of hiding away her infatuation with him. He smiled and didn't seem to be suspicious about anything. In her own head she was giving herself a mental high five for that. But she was a bit ashamed too. She didn't like to keep things away from people. Especially not something this important; but she kept telling herself that it was for the best right now and then she felt more okay with it. The right time would probably arrive some time. She did not really know when, but she would most certainly look for it and choose the right time. Her mind still wandered a little to how he would have reacted if she had straight out told him now that he asked for it. ? She was pretty sure it wouldn't have ended well. But she still dreamed that he would have taken her hand, looked into her eyes and told her that he was pretty into her too. She knew he wouldn't though. He would have stuttered and looked around the room for an escape and they wouldn't talk this well ever again. ”It's very nice.. If you think like a Dane at least” she teased him further and winked to him. She rolled her eyes at his next statement before patting his head gently with a hand. ”Jerk.” she playfully stated and tried to hide away the smile starting to show itself again on her lips. ”You need to tell my everything, love” she said with an arched eyebrow without smiling – didn't last long until it burst right out again though.
Emi did not really like fish in any other form than nigiri-sushi dipped in soya and wasabi. That taste combination she loved. But besides that she didn't really eat fish because she liked it. She did it once a week because it was healthy for her body and she had to keep that part of herself as healthy as possible. She did have a weakness for jellybeans though.. Damn, they were good! She smiled and nodded her head once ”Deal! I also bought a lot of new movies the other night, I still need to see, if you feel like watching a movie or five” she said with a giggle in her voice. She rarely bought movies but when she did, it was many! She hadn't grown up with a tv, so she had to use that by now. She just did not seem to get all the pointless shows they were running on a hundred channels! There were a few good ones every once in a while but she frankly preferred watching movies. ”Maybe, you should. 'Cuz I'm not going to stop messing it” she stated with a huge smile on her lips as she looked at him. He caused for her to chuckle when he slapped his hand over his heart and stated that he was worthy and she really had to admit; technically he was. ”Those two little girls opinion doesn't matter at all in comparison with mine. I'm the princess, y'know?” she joked with a glimpse in her eyes. ”But I shall reconsider because I don't want to hurt you too much” she added on with a nod with her head.
Opposite Jordan, Emi didn't really care what other people thought of their behavior around each other in public because everyone she knew that she cared for knew that they were nothing more than friends. And being partly in celibacy by now did make her even more indifferent. She didn't have a guy at every corner she had to worry about. But she did understand that Jordan had that girl in every house almost. The thought of that was nagging her lightly – of course it was! Sometimes she just felt like slapping some sense into his head with a book or something. Those kinds of ''love'' was doomed to go wrong eventually. And even if he didn't want to be with her when he saw that, she would like for him to just open his eyes and see that wrong in what he was doing. She was just about to sigh because of that thought as they was wandering down the street, looking for something of interest. But she remembered that he was right beside her and probably would notice, so she just gently blew out all the air she had been breathing in so it didn't come out as a resignedly sigh. He would surely ask and she wouldn't be able to shut up. This was the best way. ”If I want something amusing to look at, I just have to look at you” she teased him and wiggled her eyebrows. ”Can't help but laugh at you” she joked furthermore and laughed falsely a few times, before smiling and showing a warm gaze in his direction instead. Then she just ended up kissing his chin and shaking her head to make sure he didn't get harmed feelings from her comment.
”And I, Emilie Gael Duprae..” she started, aware of the fact that barely anyone knew her full name except the ones she had English classes with because the teacher felt like speaking the entire name when checking if everyone was there. It wasn't like she didn't like her name. It was just because people usually introduced themselves with only their first name or nickname, and then it would be completely odd if she told them her entire name just like that. Well, now Jordan knew her full name. A name that could be sung with all those vowels. ”am very sure that you, Jordan Andrew Dredd, aren't funny at all” she finished jokingly and pushed him gently and teasingly to the side with her shoulder. She was starting to give up the idea of getting him into the bikini contest because he seemed to be against it. She arched an eyebrow and smiled widely. ”I don't agree. I actually think you should try it out before you can state that you look good in anything.. So better get going, sweety” she teased him and started moving towards an underwear shop with him. ”We'd better find you a bikini then, aye?” she pushed it with the joke resting in the big browns. She dragged him along towards the shop and stopped in front of it with a considerate gaze fixated on the window. ”What about that pink bikini there? Thong and all. I think you should go try it out” she said before looking back at him with a sly grin. She sighed dramatically when he completely let him down and she shook her head. ”I'm very disappointed in you” she stated and tried to turn the corners of her mouth downwards with her fingers. ”You can no longer say that you look good in anything” she finished with a firm nod and started moving again, grinning at him. ”You've got it, Mr.” she said accepting the invitation – but all with a devious look to her face.

I’VE LEARNED TO TALK WITH MY FINGERS THE ONLY VOICE THAT WAKES MY EARS
• • • • • • • • • It was a widely known fact that Jordan was a sucker for anyone with a pretty face, he didn’t just restrict himself to girls, he would shamelessly flirt with anyone if they were attractive and had a personality to match. Which is why he sometimes found himself in a bit of trouble with various people for having a ‘wandering eye’, especially with a few girls that he was friends with. They really did not care for it when he went out of his way to be nice to another girl, or if he’d shamelessly flirt with someone to get something that he wanted. The boy considered his charm a gift, a tool that he could use to his advantage, which he did on most occasions. Much like how Emi used her adorableness against him at times, all in good fun of course. Right now though, as she smiled at him both with her lips and gorgeous orangeish eyes and batted her luscious eyelashes at him, he was literally putty in her hands. He leaned closer to her, a smile of his own pulling his lips up as he stared at her, almost if she was compelling him to look at her with adoration. Right now if she asked him to do something-anything, he would get up and do it straight away. The boy would honestly have no choice, a girl as beautiful as Emi, especially in all her eccentricities, was exactly the type of girl that could get this boy to fall to his knees and beg. Though that was of course if she could manage to capture his heart, which by the way he was staring at her, she was well on her way to doing. Jordan was so mesmerized by Emi’s smile that he almost missed what she had said, causing him to shake his head lightly, as if clearing the haze from his mind. “Of course I am, you’ve made me the happiest man on earth.” He gushed playfully while clasping his hands together and brining them to his chest. The boy raised an eyebrow as she laughed, clearly she did not quite believe him when he said he was attending all of his classes; if he was her he wouldn’t have believe himself either. He simply just did not look or acts like the type of kid who went to all of his classes, everyday. Of course that’s not to say that the boy was some full out stoner kid that maybe went to class twice a week, if he felt the need to grace his classes with his presence. Nope, Jordan was the kid that skipped class every once in a while, only when he knew he would just sit through the class and not pay attention anyway. He figured that if he was not going to pay attention then there was no sense in even going, thus far he’d been doing all right with that as a philosophy of sorts. The boy chuckled lightly, passing a hand through his hair, “Yeah, you’re right, I wouldn’t believe me either.” He commented. “How about this then, I have been attending most of my classes.” He stated, putting emphasis on most as he grinned at the girl; that was the truth. Jordan nodded thoughtfully as he listened to the girl, she did have a valid point. “True that broski.” He commented. If everyone was ordinary then it would be the most boring place in the world, it reminded him slightly of the Island, with Scarlett Johansson and Ewan McGregor; but not quite that fucked up. Jordan couldn’t resist a high five when one was offered to him, so without hesitation he high fived Emi before settling back into laughter. They were dorks.
Jordan nodded, grinning lightly ather statement that held a certain truth to it. “Yeah I guess so.” The boy did not particularly like to admit to being scared of anything, but he had all ready told the girl that he was afraid of thunderstorms, so why not admit to being slightly afraid of the unknown as well? “Yeah, they do probably think you’re an alien, you’re kinda strange looking.” He said while shrugging his shoulders, a sly grin curving his lips up. Obviously he was kidding if his grin was any inclination to the fact, plus if he was hanging around with her what the hell did that say about him? He was as much an alien as she was, they were a perfect fit. Jordan waved his hand, dismissing her wink and comment all in one. “Easier said than done, but thanks for the advice anyway.” He replied with quick grin. The boy regarded her curiously, holding back a small grin, trying to look disappointed at her words. “Ahh yes, well Emi maybe it’s time you started thinking of other people, y’know instead of just yourself.” He replied, completely serious. The serious act did not last long before his classic grin had resurfaced on his face, driving the disappointed look completely away. A loud boisterous fit of laughter escaped his lips as the girl squealed when he messed up her hair. It was time she got a taste of her own medicine, after all the times she had messed up his hair she was lucky he had not retaliated before this. “Well Emi, I’m just repaying you back for all the times you had messed up my hair.” He replied innocently, ignoring her warning look. Jordan smirked smugly when she called him a piece of eye-candy, he lifted his chin up proudly. Laughter fell from his lips at her next statement, shaking his head lightly. “You’re right, a poor little girl like you has no chance against such eye-candy like myself.” He commented, his tone smug. The boys smug smirk ebbed as she smiled slyly at him, he did like where that look was going, it usually meant that she was going to say something smart-alec like. He pursed his lips as she pointed out that she might just be a very patient person, but then ended up shaking his head. “Nah, you’re not very patient at all.” He teased slightly, tapping his fingers on the table lightly. The boy scoffed at her comment about checking out a girl, shaking his head lightly. “Dearest Emi, there is nothing wrong with checking out the same sex, if someone looks good what the harm?” he asked, completely ignoring her bait; he was not about to let her tease him about his name even if it was all in good fun.
He shook his head, “Well silly girl, I don’t happen to think like a Dane, so it’s not going to be very nice, ever.” He retorted, crossing his arms over his chest stubbornly and puffing his cheeks out like a two year old that was not getting his way. Jordan stuck his tongue out at the girl as she patted his head and called him a girl, further acting like the child that he was. The boy uncrossed his arms and relaxed back into his chair, a slow grin pulling at his lips at her statement. “Sorry, love, it’s not ever going to happen. A guys gotta have some secrets.” He stated while smiling brightly at the girl.
Jordan clapped his hands together at her proclamation, glad that she agreed and that she threw in a bonus, a night with her just cuddling and watching movies. “Fuck yeah!” he exclaimed excitedly, before glancing at her bashfully. He tried not to swear when in the presence of a girl, even if they were a good friend, it just didn’t seem right to him; he could be kind of old fashioned. “I’m excited, I loooove watching movies with you.” He elaborated, a bright smile on his lips as he bounced along beside the girl. He was all ready super excited about the night to come, movies, beer and the company of an amazing girl, what else could he ask for? “What movies did you buy?” he asked after a moment glancing at the girl curiously. The boy frowned lightly, looking at her while shaking his head. “Well if its gonna be like that then I should warn you that I won’t hesitate to mess your hair up now as well.” He stated, trying to hold back the laughter in his voice. “No more mister nice guy.” He added on while sticking his tongue out at her before a playful smile warmed his face. Jordan rolled his eyes skyward as Emi stated the girls’ opinions didn’t matter, how did he know that one was coming? ”Yeah, yeah, princess Emi, only her opinion matters, blahblahblah.” He teased sarcastically, grinning at the girl. “Oh good, thank you your highness! Thank you so much, for thinking of such an unworthy boy like me and taking the opinions of irrelevant little girls into consideration.” He sniffled while looking at her with sad, sparkling eyes, as if he was about to cry. Another small talent that he had, he could make his eyes water on cue, not that it had ever really helped him in any situation.
Jordan was not daft, well sometimes he had his moments, but most of the time he could pick up on things that his friends were feeling, just by small little details in their body language. For a brief moment he thought that Emi was almost disappointed in him, for what though he wasn’t sure and he barely even caught it as she slipped into a moment of private thought. He knew that something that he said or did caused her to space out and have a moment to herself, which he would respect because he did it all the time and only on a few rare occasions did she question him about it. Though, he would admit that he was curious as to what she was thinking, because he wanted to know exactly what he did caused her to be what he thought was disappointed in him. Jordan had a vague notion of what it was, obviously concerning his flirtatious ways, but whatever, he really didn’t want to dredge any of that up; he had a feeling it would not end well. He flicked his gaze away from Emi to a couple and their children, two girls and a boy that were fighting over who got to hold whose hand; it was adorable. He flirted with the idea of some day having his own children running around, while he held the hand of his beloved and watched with amusement and love, finally truly happy with where his life was headed. Jordan slowly pulled his gaze away from the family as he heard Emi speak, a slow grin now pulling at his lips. “Ahaha, you’re soooo funny Emi, funniest girl I know.” He retorted sarcastically while rolling his eyes, pretending to be angry with her. Though the false feelings melted away into cheer as she kissed his chin, “golly gee Emi, you sure know how to turn a situation around.” He commented in regard to the fact that she could so easily make him forget about why he was pretending to be angry with her in the first place, all from a simple gesture like a kiss. “The powers of persuasion are strong in you.” He added in a Yoda like tone, even though he wasn’t a Star Wars fan.
The brunette boy arched his eyebrows at her full name, never had he heard her full name before, it was almost strange to think that she had a full name to begin with. He had always known her as Emi Duprae, or rather Emi for short. He thought that if he were to ever use her full name it would be foreign on his tongue and that he probably wouldn’t even be able to say her name without questioning it. “Dude, I can’t even believe you have a full name, it’s weird, I mean you’re Emi” he stated, putting emphasis on the name he was so familiar with, because up until this moment he had never heard her been called anything else. The boy shook his head, getting back on track, sometimes he was easily distracted. “Anyway, the point is is that I’m funny and you’re just in denial, probably because you’re jealous of my humor and stuff.” He said firmly, nodding his head. Jordan made a disapproving clucking noise with his tongue. “Well I don’t agree with you, it’s called extrapolation m’dear, a very scientific method.” He stated while pulling back slightly as she began to lead him. The boy shook his head as they stopped in front of an underwear shop. He grimaced, wrinkled his nose as she suggest the pink one, thong and all. “Uhh nope, not a chance, you could not pay me to go in there and try that on.” He said while shaking his head again, further driving home his point. There would be no way in hell he would ever be caught in one of those, lest he be extremely drunk. “Pft, be disappointed all you want, it’s never changed a thing, and I can too say that I look good in anything, need I remind you of extrapolation again?” he asked with a raised eyebrow. Never in would he have thought that math terminology would do him any good in his everyday life outside of school, well kudos to math on that one. “Excellent.” He commented, smiling brightly at the girl as she accepted his invitation, even though he knew it was all a joke.

Teenage dreams in a teenage circusRunning around like a clown on purpose - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - What people did not quite know was how much the little redhead liked seeing Jordan as mesmerized with his eyes half gone and very warm and that smile curving his lips and the way she imagined that he could see deep inside her soul with that gaze. But for what she knew, he just stared and his mind went blank because often he would not hear what she had been saying to him. It was a sort of mixed feeling; on one hand she liked being able to make him go blank just by looking at him and on the other hand she didn't like that she could be in control of her friend when what she liked the most was individuality. But as for now, she playfully used it to get what she wanted – never in any harmful ways. She did not – and I repeat: NOT! - want to hurt him in any way by making him do something, she knew, he'd feel bad about afterwards. When he leaned closer yet to her, her heart skipped one beat and her eyes flickered to the side – barely visible for anyone else than the attentive viewer. Why, oh why, should she absolutely choose to see him as someone she'd want to be more than friends with? Why not someone less complicated? In her mind she was slapping herself hardly more than once to get in control of herself. She really, really didn't like that he was capable of making her nervous just by leaning forward, when hardly anyone else could make her nervous about things. This boy really was something special with everything he stood for and what he did. But still, she felt like she was a disaster when she couldn't make the sensible choice of finding someone else to pull her mind off him. Maybe she would! A little fling or something to keep her satisfied or something. She really tried hard to convince herself that it was just the lack of sex that had made her sentimental and a few nights in bed with a guy would heal it and boom – she'd be back to the normal friendship thing with Jordan...... But the whole idea fell down again when he started smiling more and talked to her with that lovely deep voice and she felt like melting again. And she gave up trying to downplay it and she gave up finding easy solutions and decided to tell him sometime. Because this whole infatuation apparently wasn't going away – better yet: It was growing bigger every time she spent her time with him. ”Then I could not be more happy myself” she stated with a firm nod when she managed to pull herself together and act more like 'Emi' again. The subject moved on to Jordan's attendance at school. She could better accept his next statement of attending almost all his classes. Emi did come to most her classes and only a few she stayed away from. The ones she could come to every once in a while and still excel in and get good grades in. ”Ahah! Now we're talking” she said with a teasing glimpse in her Bambi eyes. ”I did have a hard time seeing you as the model pupil attending every single class.... Not to say that it would be pretty freaky when no one else attends them all” she stated with a nod and she had to laugh when he called her 'broski'. ”Broski? That's the first time I've ever heard that word” she giggled and held a hand in front of her mouth. ”Thank God for the special people” she stated and smiled at him. She was so happy to be one of the special ones because being ordinary just got too boring in the end. That was what she had tried in that high school year in Denmark. Even though she hadn't changed all that much about herself back then, she had tried to act more normal than before. She shook her head then and winked at him when they did that high five.
Emilie threw him another of her gentle smiles when he seemed to agree with her and add that he too felt a bit scared of the unknown as well. Just as any other human being on this planet. She had to smile just a little bit bigger when he then told her that she was alien and strange looking. She didn't mind that at all. He was after all her friend and he could say what he wanted to. And just the fact that he said so but still hung out with her said it all. - He was just as strange. ”I could say the same about you” she teased him back and smiled in his direction. Her gaze ran over his hair and body as she said it just to state a bit extra that he was just as strange looking. Not in her eyes of course, but in everyone else's. She was sure that this sweethearted loving boy looked completely intimidating on some people due to all the tattoos that made him seem more harsh than boyish. But she was never afraid of people that looked special. No in fact she was more likely to run to them and say hi than to any ordinary one. She was just designed that way! She smiled at him and grabbed his chin gently with two fingers and leaned forward to him. ”It's not that hard” she told him and made his head tilt up slightly, så he had his head up as she just said. ”If you can't do that yourself, I'll help you” she said smilingly and finally pulled back and let go of his chin with her fingers. But she kept watching him curiously to see, if he had believed she would do something else than that. Because most of the time when you grab someone chin it is to turn their head towards yours and kiss them. She shook her head strongly before frowning at him. ”Are you saying that I am selfish!? Do you need a good ass-kicking???” she asked him aggressively but of course all in joke. It was easy to see in her eyes and the way her lips threatened to curv any second. It was almost impossible to fix the curls that always fell in the most weird ways after someone having messed it up, and it took her time to get it all perfect – and all that time she was frowning at him. ”But you can fix yours in no time where my curls are hell!” she stated with a firm nod. In a matter of short time she had found back to her cheerful usual self though. She laughed with him and shrugged. ”I don't know.. I guess, I'm pretty helpless” she sighed dramatically again and wrapped one of her curls around her fingers as she looked up to him with wide innocent eyes. It didn't last long until she just smiled and moved on from that little-poor-girl look completely. ”I'm patient!!” she firmly stated before giggling a little ”Some times at least” she added to be just a bit more trustworthy. ”Nah.. But I'm not into girls so isn't it a bit evil to have them think I'm interested, when I'm not?” she asked him with an eyebrow arched.
She looked at him with a teasing disappointment painted in her facial expressions. ”Well, sweetheart, I better teach you to think like a Dane then” she told him and arched an eyebrow before laughing gently. ”Or maybe not.. that'll make it easier to tease you” she then added with a shrug and looked as if she was thinking it through thoroughly. She then saw him puffing his cheeks up and quickly she pushed on each of them with her index fingers in tease to puncture them. ”I don't think a guy needs secrets. Even less around someone like me” she told him with a smile lighting up her beautiful pale face.
Jordans joy with getting another night of movie-watching and cuddling was pleasing Emi as she watched him. She rarely experienced him swearing around her and when he did it was mostly because he was excited or really mad or sad. Then he couldn't control his language. So just by him swearing she could be sure he was honest in his joy. He even made the girl smile widely at him and nod. ”I know you do. That's why I asked you to join me” she stated to him and shoved him gently to the side. She was pretty sure it wasn't just all the movies that made him like it so much just like it was the same for her. The liked it because she was in good company. They wasn't always all that focused on the movie but instead they'd just talk to each other in quiet voices and about everything and nothing. It was cozy and nice. And then followed by cuddling and all. In all honestly, she didn't like watching movies all by herself. It got too lonely and sad. ”I don't even remember.. Some thrillers and horror movies and a lot of comedies too. One chick-flick called '27 dresses' if that has any interest to you” she said with a glimpse in her eyes and smiled. She pressed her lips against each other in a displeased grimace and a dirty look was shot in his direction when he threatened to mess up her hair again... ”HMPF!!” she exclaimed and nodded. ”Ceasefire then?” she asked him, eyebrow arched and a hand stretched out for him to shake, if he agreed. She bit out in the air after his tongue when he stuck it out, but never got to grab it before he had it hidden away again. A teasingly smile embraced her soft, full lips. ”Be grateful and do not mock your master when she's being gentle on you. She just might punish you for it” she stated with a nod and an arched eyebrow. - Especially when he got all teary eyed. She was amazed with the fact that he could do that on cue. Still she joked and teased him: ”Crybaby”
She noticed the way he looked at a couple and their children passing too and she got a bit skeptical from the sight. She wasn't a dork when reading the signs her friends did but she really had a hard time believing the gaze Jordan threw them. As if that was what he wanted with his life. And if that really was what he wanted, then why would he keep on his flings and one night stands? Because that would never lead to a family. She got really confused about it but somehow it was very VERY cute and totally attractive that he was thinking of getting a family like that – just like Emi herself wanted to find the man for her and have kids sometime in the future when her career showed to be either a disaster or good and she was about to leave the spotlight. She'd had to see about that. She caught herself giggling a little when the boy pulled one of the girls' ponytail and she ran to her parents, who took her up in their arms and while the father held the girl, the mother fixed the hair. When the little one was back on the ground they threw a short but gentle and loving kiss. It was adorable to see them in such situations. Three kids and still obviously in love. Just like Emi's parents had looked at each other through their little girls entire upbringing. They were the perfect couple. Emi could only hope to find someone for her like that too. ”I am funny. Haven't you noticed before?” she teased him with a wink as she patted him on the shoulder. ”Slow-witted, are we?” she asked him teasingly. Again she just smiled widely when he lost the anger because of something as simple as a kiss on the chin. ”It's a talent of mine.. I don't have to many, you see” she made a little sad-face before just shaking it off and smiling.
Her eyes rolled around when he seemed to comment on her name instead of what she had been saying but she did understand. It often felt like that when her friends told her their full name when all she knew them as was their first name. Then it seems to weird that they actually have more to their name than that. She laughed a little and shrugged. ”What can I say? I'm just another one of those people with a full name” she said as if it wasn't all normal to have a full name. Almost as if she was ashamed of it – which was far from the truth. She shook her head at him and shoved a little. ”That is not true at all. You're not funny – I am.. 'the funniest girl you know' remember?” she said with an arched eyebrow and the joke embracing her face. ”I have no idea whatsoever as to what that word means” she declared with blankness written in her eyes. She really had no idea at all. ”What was it I said: You're boring” she stated when they were standing in front of the window and was checking out the pink thong-bikini-thing. She wouldn't want to see him in that, really. She imagined he'd look completely ridiculous beyond just fun. She laughed out a little and slapped him like half hard. ”Don't use words, I don't understand!” she said and shot out her lower lip as a displeased little kid. She furthermore crossed her arms in front of her chest.
